a $5 parking fee to park is ridiculous! There is absolutely no reason to collect that fee. The Morris Plains location does not have foot traffic and without a car one would be stuck at the hotel. Future trips to Morris Plains will be at one of the other hotels which do not have hidden fees that are applied at time of check-in.

I was looking for a hotel room near Parsippany NJ. This hotel had the best price and a good rating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. It had a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher. There were pots, dishes and silverware. You could easily have cooked a meal here if you wanted to. The only negative thing I can say is that when I arrived about 5 pm, the front desk was very busy and the check in very slow. I would go back to the Candlewood Hotel if I needed to be in the area again.
