The staff were friendly. The location is very convenient to EWR and other businesses, including bus transit to NJ other towns and NYC.

Criminal elements everywhere. Prostitution and drugs are evident. Possibly bed bug encounter and not very clean. Toilet still had spots left from previous guest. Convenient shops and dining. I won't return.

Convenient location, reasonably comfortable bed and good cleanness.

Environment looks good but facilities, amenities and staff are not so good. Booked room for two days vacated after first day.

I would use again if needed accomodations in area and no more up to date hotel were available or reasonable. The rooms are clean but small and outdated.

Just the smell of the room, irritates me. Bathtub was glogged

The hotel is pretty old building. The room smells strange to me. Bed sheets have stains. They only provide really cheap soaps and shampoos. I lived for three nights, but they did not give enough soaps and shampoos.

We ran into a booking error with Expedia and had to find another hotel in a pinch. There was a king suite available here for the same price as a standard room, so we booked the room. The lobby was small and dingy, and staff couldn't initially find our reservation but I'll chalk that up to a delay with online booking through Orbitz. The room itself was a pleasant surprise - spacious and well laid out with a sizable work area and nice TV. Overall a decent experience, and affordable considering our last minute booking issue.

Second time I stayed here in less than a week, once again I had a good experience!

The cleaning lady was still cleaning when I got the keys. I had to wait 20 min. After that when I entered I had head ache and cough because of the chemical smell. I had to leave the room for 2 hrs for the chemicals to settle. Awful bed,had back ache after getting up. Room carpet felt dirty. Washroom was clean. Good location. Linen was old. Only stay here if nothing else is available.

After I went through an expedited check in.. I went to my room and after putting my things away the phone rings.. It was Marsha from the front desk checking to see if everything was to my satisfaction

good location and value for the money quiet yet on the main road.

Place was dirty, the rooms were bad. They didn't come in and clean them once with my 5 day stay. Horible service. Avoid this place if you can. I'd never stay here again

Perfect for a short stay before heading to airport. Clean, comfortable and very functional. Will look to stay there again in similar situation.

We needed a place to stay for one night while traveling with a small dog. Our criteria were to find a clean enough place that we felt comfortable to sleep and shower in, and one that would not charge an arm and a leg for one little dog for one night. Other hotels wanted $75-$150 extra just to have a 14 pound dog sleep in the room. Red roof Inn had zero pet fees. The room was actually pretty nice, though small. But how much room do you really need just to spend one night? Bed was comfortable and seemed clean enough that I felt comfortable (that says a lot). The hotel is right in between 2 highways so I thought The noise would be an issue. Once the door was closed, there was really just a slight hum from the cars whizzing by. Bathroom and shower also seemed clean. Flat screen TV worked fine and the decor was updated enough.

Hotel was close to many restaurants. The room did not look like it had been vacuumed and the shower did not look cleaned. Would not stay again or recommend.

hotel met my expectations.room was clean and beds were very comfortable.the only irritant was no shampoo or toiletries and the comforter has 2 burn holes. they should have recycled the comforter but for the price all good. good location off of 80

Rooms need to be more cleaning. I stay there two weeks fair enought hotel for 70 $ / Day

İt was a warm and relaxing night for me. Because I was so tired. It helped me a lot.Thank you.
