Great hotel. I love the decor. The rooms are excellent and offer kitchens, king size bed and couch that is a sleeper sofa. Bathrooms are amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean pool area. They also free breakfast in the morning and an outside seating area. There’s a basketball court and plenty of things to do at the hotel. Wonderful lobby area to relax in. We will absolutely be returning.

The hotel is nice and new and appears that way. There is a large lobby area for the breakfast, which was fine. The staff were very nice (although see the issue below). Three big problems and two small problems, however. Big problems: First, we were in a two-queen-bed room, and the beds were NOT queen. At best they were full, but they felt even smaller than that, width-wise. The person at the desk said the hotel only has queen and king, and the website says that also. But I have a queen at home, and these were NOT queen. Second, the sleep area of the room was pretty small. So small, in fact, that there was no way to get into one of the "queen" beds from one side (it was up against the wall). If two people are sleeping there, one will need to climb over the other to get in or out. (also, only "king" bed rooms have sofas). Third, my parents (staying in a separate room) had fraudulent activity on the two credit cards used at that hotel. Why did they use two? Because the front desk person said the first one was rejected when it was rung up -- but Chase has no record of this; it seems like it was a ruse to access a second card. Two smaller issues. First, there were barely any outlets (and none near beds). Second, the alarm in our room was set for 6am -- luckily I caught it before it woke us all up in the morning; it would have been nice for the staff to have checked for that when they made up the room.

I stayed at this hotel while competing with my 2 small dogs at a dog show that was in the area. The hotel is dog friendly and has plenty of grass areas to walk your dog and there is a neighborhood next door with sidewalks where you can also walk your dog. The rooms are clean, modern, and the hotel seems new (which is great). The staff is friendly and the breakfast (which was included in my stay) was healthy and fresh (fruit, eggs, yogurt, breads, etc). The rooms are well appointed with a kitchenette, nice size bathroom, coffee pots, ironing boards, good closet space, etc. Internet connection was good. I would definitely stay here again during a trip- the dogs and I were very comfortable and enjoyed the stay!!

My sister and I stayed here for the night while attending a nearby family wedding. The hotel is new and the rooms were immaculately clean. The kitchen area was perfect w/ a full size refrigerator. There was also a table w/ 4 chairs which made it easier to enjoy some snacks and drinks. The bathroom was very small but the shower pressure was great! It also had plenty of outlets for cell phones etc. and 2 very big closets. The breakfast was very good. I was able to make my own waffles w/ an easy to follow waffle maker and batter dispenser. They also had muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage etc. I would definitely recommend this for a pleasant stay!

I stayed at this hotel due to the rate but it was quite a trip to work compared to where I stayed at previously. Getting food at night in Rockaway Square can be a challenge to come back to this hotel unless you make a (probably) illegal left turn. My rating is not based on this but a tip for those who don't want to go too far to eat. The staff I came in contact with at this hotel were all friendly and greeted me. The room itself is spacious enough compared to other hotels. I love the artwork that they hang on the walls in the room where each one has a short unique message. The room itself was perfect for my business travel and the bed was comfortable. The main complaint that I have is that the bed frame should not stick out that much. This is especially deceiving me when the bed and covers are puffing out and covering my view of the corners. I have hit my lower leg on both corners of the bed more than once every night. It became so bad that on my second stay at this hotel, I started tucking the bathroom hand towels on both corners to avoid further injury. The room has outlets almost everywhere which is a plus for me with all the various devices I use that needs to be charged. The work table in the bedroom is made out of some type of metal and it caused problems with my wireless optical mouse. I had to use a book as a mouse pad to do my work. The breakfast buffet area is kind of small and has the usual eggs, cereal, pastry, etc. I usually make myself a cup of tea and grab a yogurt for a quick breakfast before heading out to work. The gym has two treadmills and one elliptical machine along with various dumb bells (I think from around 10lbs to 50lbs). There were days where the gym was just too humid and it made the treadmill a little unsafe to run on so I had to go with the elliptical on those days. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it's not deep like most hotels of this size. I'm not sure if I will return to this hotel again, not due to the bed frame problem mentioned above, but the distance from and to work. Overall, I did enjoy my stay at this property and Towneplace Suites are one of the hotels I prefer when on my leisure travels.

Where do i start. I normally stay at the Homewood Suites in dover when visiting family. This time eventhough i booke two months in advance it was not available. The Towneplace Suites had just been completed and being a Marriott I figured as good as a Hilton brand. Boy was I wrong. First off the room was small compared to the same room I would have gotten at Homewood Suites( a studio). It was dark, and after further inspection top very well maintained cleanliness wise. There was some type of smudge on the peep mhole(blood, chocolate? who knows) When pulling out the sofa bed we found a hair elatic, some type of perscription pill(luckily a dog or a small child did not find it first)and an earring card. The bed was comfy, the bathroom small and cramped, but the closet was nice. The water never really got super hot in the shower. The AC in the room got hot at night, and the internet, don't even get me started about the internet. Sporadically worked onthe TV, worked on our phones and tablets but not the laptops. I travel with my laptop because I work constantly(real estate broker) I called for assistance with the internet and was told it was probably my settings. Never had this isue at the Hilton nextdoor. Breakfast...disappointing! Cold sausage and rubbery eggs, most days and then some type of turkey bacon...Lets just say it paled in comparison to Homewood suites. The pool was very nice and warm and the gym adequate, which I used every day. The staff, very friendly, could not fault them for what they had to work with aside from the missed items under the sofa bed. The icing on the cake, a 7 a m fire alarm and evacuation. I guess it was nothing. It was a long week in a cramped room. Will I stay here again, no. Homewood suites is my home away form home!

It is new so the rooms are clean. It is built for efficiency. The color scheme is cold and the art work are messages. Breakfast is fair. Was there for a wedding and there were 2 that weekend so the hotel was full. Not enough seats for everyone Staff was courteous.

This is a brand new hotel so it's still really nice. My room space was laid out very efficiently. Comfy bed and pillows. Super clean. Friendly staff. I didn't explore any other floors but the hallway on the 2nd floor was very wide - which I liked for some reason.

The hotel opened in early 2017 and is in a quiet location with lots of free parking. You can walk to the mall which is very nice. The rooms are standard for Towne Place and the staff is very friendly. The suites have full size refrigerators, stovetops and microwaves.

I am not one to complain and recognize it's once you do that can make a difference as to how things are handled. We got here Wednesday and the room smell has been here all the while. The first time we companined they forgot to handle it day three they stuck a fan in the room and tonite when we got back we just said oh well leave a bad review call the hotline and move on! Please tend to the musty smell in the room it's a poor display of Marriott. Hope the marquis in NYC rotors our faith tomorrow.
