My wife and I took my daughter to Montreal for a graduation present to attend the Pink concert. We stayed 2 nights at the Ritz Carlton and it was truly amazing! The staff are all tuned in to the customers needs and they all make you feel that your are the only one staying at the Hotel. I would like to send a special thanks to Veronica and Audrey for making my daughter feel like a princess, and even though the concert was cancelled you made up for it with the attentiveness you gave her. See you all again very soon!
Everything you expect from a Ritz! Class, comfort, stellar service and all of the finely appointed extras! From fresh orchids in the lobby to spacious suites with dreamy beds topped with luxurious bedding; and a bright double vanity 4pce bathroom showcasing a toilet with heated seats and a huge bathtub! And a first class spa to experience downstairs!
We had a great stay and would love to of back again next year. The room was amazing. Very modern. We had tea in the lobby, tried the roof top pool and the buffer breakfast. The concierge was excellent. It was hard to leave.
Family and business mixed perfectly here for a recent stay. Our extended family chose to stay at the Ritz-Carlton for a small reunion of sorts, while I tucked in some client meetings in the city. Since being completely renovated, the Ritz-Carlton has returned as top dog in the Montreal hotel game. The rooms are impeccably furnished; high-tech touches with comfortable modern design is the rule. The night lighting (nightlghts at ankle level) that is activate by middle of the night movement was a cool (and unexpected) touch. For one in our party who deemed the mattress too hard, the concierge quickly arranged for a down mattress cover to cushion her sleep. No request is ignored, the staff here are among the very best in the business. For the business traveler, each room has a desk space with multiple power points, including USB. Wireless is high speed and completely reliable. No issues getting online and working quickly upon check in. The amenities in the hotel are all new and most useful. The health club and pool area were a nice way to unwind and get in some exercise. The lounge area, while compact, serves just the right mix of cocktails and light fare. The fact that it was packed most days after 5pm is a testament to its popularity. While I didn't partake in afternoon tea, those in our party who did raved about the service the the experience. Really nothing negative to say about this hotel. They understand that travel can be hectic and stressful, and their staff knows how to put guests at ease and make those negatives melt away. I had forgotten how special the Ritz-Carlton experience is, but this trip brought be back to basics. I will be staying here again next time I return to Montreal for business.
I know its business, but the staff’s efforts to make you feel welcome and appreciated are outstanding, from contact before arriving, to knowledge of you at the reception to the very personal handwritten note in the room. It works! Room, bed and bathroom all outstanding quality and cleanliness, including full set of amenities. Rooms are in a very classy style without indulging in the typical urge to have a certain artistic impression like many other hotels. That works for me as well! Pricing is surprisingly moderate, compared to the level of quality in staff, service and rooms.
My experience with the Ritz Carlton Montreal started before I arrived to the city. My girlfriend and I took her parents for her fathers 60th birthday. Before arriving Mathilda and Audrey helped us give the best welcome surprise anyone could ask for. They had a photo of her father with a personalized note and welcome amenities that can not be standard for even the Ritz Carlton. It was a WOW experience. You mix that in with the words best check-in experience along with the amazingly clean and up kept rooms and you have a magical weekend getaway. This is by far the nicest hotel in Montreal! The biggest difference between RC Montreal and one of the four seasons is the staff. The staff blew me away!
The service, the customer attention, everything was just great! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. They make you feel special and are dedicated to your well being. Our room had a hand written welcome card accompanied by delicious little sweets to enjoy. The location is great, you can walk everywhere. It was our first time at a Ritz Carlton and you can bet it won't be my last.
This hotel is impressive to say the least. The customer service at the front desk, restaurant, and room service were top notch. The maple cookies and candy waiting for us upon arrival to our room was a real treat. I loved the bathroom with the large tub, heated floors, and heated toilet seat. Our bed was also incredibly comfortable. We had breakfast at Maison Boulud twice and LOVED it...I recommend the pancakes. If we visit Montreal again we will certainly stay here.
Great visit. Love this hotel. The service was phenomenal. Champagne and a card were sent upstairs once they knew it was my bachelorette party weekend. Me and my girls enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit.
I have spend many nights at this property since I reviewed it a few years ago. After a recent poor experience at another Ritz Carlton property coming back here made me appreciate how good everything about this hotel is. Without a doubt it is one of my favourite hotels globally. Because it is a relatively small hotel it feels more like a luxury boutique hotel. The room amenities are superior to most high end hotels and the bar/restaurant are excellent but it is the service that stands out. The guest relation team of Audrey & Veronica always make me feel welcome and whether my wife is with me or not always leave her room spray for me to bring home.
