The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Montreal section, close to Notre Dame, shopping and a million on street dining options. Check in was quick and efficient as was the valet parking. (parking is $50/ a day, so don't be shocked). Dinner on the rooftop was excellent, and the waiter was prompt and courteous, and let us enjoy our meal at our pace. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there is a large tub for soaking. Everyone speaks English and French and didn't make you feel awkward for not understanding French. We'd definitely stay again.
Absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Nelligan. The location could not have been more perfect—within walking distance of the Notre Dame Basilica and we were able to catch the Hop On/Hop Off bus tour easily. The staff (Daniela and Jean) and concierge were so friendly and helpful. We received a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. Could not have asked for anything better!
What can I say, this is a wonderful hotel in great location.The staff was always super helpful and friendly with great suggestions. The food options are good and tried everything as we were there for 5 days wasn't but weren't impressed with the steak house. Our stay wasn't without excitement as the water main in front of the hotel burst and hotel was without water for some time. They handled things very well and moved us to there sister hotel close by which was very nice as well. We certainly will come back again and again in the future.

From the first interaction with the valet, Hotel Nelligan was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located on a beautiful street. The Petite Suite was hard to leave as it was warm and inviting with a jacuzzi tub and an electric fireplace. Cafe Nelli isn’t your standard hotel cafe. You’d want to hang out there even if you weren’t staying at Nelligan. They serve excellent coffee and breakfast. We will definitely be returning!

We were given an “upgrade” however the room was dark and not very nice. The people next door were very noisy so we were switched to a different floor and a much nicer room. If that hadn’t happened we would have been in a not very nice room. The shower door didn’t close properly in the new room. The restaurant was so busy and the staff were not many and it took too long to
