My wife's custom built bicycle was cut off the bike rack of our MB Sprinter Van in clear view of the hotel security cameras in the parking lot. Staff tried to view the security footage but the review was limited to 4X so it would take 2 hours to review 8 hours time elapsed. They did not call the RCMP. I called the RCMP when we spotted the thief with the bike on Main Street about 1KM from the hotel.
Great place to stay!!! The staff was so helpful, and took care of everything I required. I would definitely recommend and stay there again if I ever return to the area.
Our visit was short and sweet, without any issues. Check-In and Check-Out was quick and there was plenty of parking in the back.
First, they changed my pre-paid reservation from single queen w sofa to two queens with straight back chairs. Not exactly the comfort I was looking for, and for that reason alone I am doubtful to stay here again. THEN the desk clerk went into great detail about how I could have saved more money by some sort of discounted rate through them. I told her that I used the third party booking agent so I could pay in US dollars, and also they didn't offer a package that included breakfast. During my stay, only once was I greeted by the staff. WiFi service was excellent. It is a nice facility, accomodations were great, downtown is a short walk. Customer sevice needs attention.
Don't expect luxury here..serves a purpose for sure, but not sure if it is worth the money.
Check in was smooth and quick! We were unfortunately on a floor where a domestic dispute happened. We are aware that these things happen, but it went on for over two hours.. from About 2am-4am. The cops came and we figured we could go to bed after this but it continued about half hour later, just as we were starting to fall asleep again from our hearts pounding. We are aware that this was not an issue of the hotel or staff, but it wasn’t handled as quickly as it should’ve been. When we mentioned this to the front desk, she was quite snappy with her response and in no way empathetic to our experience. While I understand this was not our fault, we were in no way rude about bringing up this issue and don’t feel the way she responded was warranted. Along side of this, we requested a king bed and only received a queen, if that.. it may have even been smaller. The hotel also REAKED of weed.
