We stayed with a group on tour. The check in procedure was fabulous and we were very quickly given our room keys. The hotel is being renovated, so there isn't a huge amount of ambiance, however, our room was large, clean and bright, the dinner was quite good and breakfast plentiful. The bar service left a lot to be desired, as there was only one person on duty and there were several of us who came to the lounge at the same time.

The good: it's across from/very close to Via Rail and Maritime Bus depot. - Room was clean. Staff were friendly. The bad: Very small room. Old furnishings. The ugly: Hotel overall is tired. Needs a complete overhaul.

We have stayed at other Crowne Plazas before and expected much more from this hotel. The entrance will fool you as it is updated and looks nice. The first room we were assigned had carpet and stained chairs. The kind gentleman at the front desk was able to move us into another room, not much better though. We stayed 2 nights during our visit to NB but Moncton and this hotel was probably our least favorite stop. We booked on Priceline and still paid almost 200$ a night. Then had to pay 12$ a night for parking on top of that... Not worth the money.

We were disappointed with this hotel I understand they are renovating but the room we had was quite tired the carpet was disgusting luckily we had two beds one had a very very poor mattress the other was OK It is a great location quick walk to just about anything you need the staff was very friendly the breakfast buffet was very good It definitely does not meet the standards of crown plaza

We stayed at the Crowne in Moncton, New Brunswick for two nights in July of 2017. This is the hotel I choose to have my wedding block reserved at. We had over 45 rooms booked under the wedding party block in addition had others staying not under the wedding block. Likely 50 rooms in total booked by guest of the wedding. This is not a negative review or a positive review. This is dictating what occurred. Hotel block booked in late 2016. Original individual in sales has since left the position. Since the booking I dealt with three different "sales" people. This was not ideal. Before we arrived Friday, we called to see when we could check in early as we had requested early check in. The girl on the phone proceeded to tell me I did not have priority to check in due to the fact the children sports team had priority. No one should have priority over anyone. This was not proper. Upon arrival we ran into multiple issues. Our reservations said Bride & Groom rooms (two rooms each booked under grooms name and two booked under brides name) were to be on two separate floors due to the fact we were marrying the next day. Reservations had this request but the sales team argued that those instructions were not on their sales papers.. At this time we were told no other rooms were available and that was all they could do.... Needless to say we called multiple other hotels for room rates for the friday evening as we did not want the chance of running into each other. The manager at this time wanted to speak to us. He brought us into his office to speak with him. At this time he did help fix the issues and we ended up getting rooms on two separate floors and he also gave one of our 4 rooms that we had free. This did help the situation. However, no one should have had to deal with this the day before their wedding. Future wedding parties here are my recommendations: - Deal with one and only one person for all your sales - Arrange that cots are included in your cost of hotel rooms (they want to charge you $10 for each cot - they will also argue that they can be fire hazards in one room but not another). They will also not inform you of this cost upfront either. - Continue to check on your reservations and ASK if there are any other room blocks booked as no one informed us that there was another room block of small children at the hotel the entire time - you will have no peace in quite in pool area if this is the case. - The rate we received was 144 plus tax for each room - Request a room on the renovated floors as the floors not renovated (the floor we were on) smelled and had other issues. - Remind the hotel staff if included in your room block that parking is free (as some staff tried to charge our guests parking fees) - This hotel does not seem equipped to handle large groups or events - specially when the last names are very similar on reservations. - In addition, we found out that they were going to send people to one of the bride's rooms the day of wedding to change (As they were unable to check people in).... We had not given permission to the front desk to tell people this. ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. *I would recommend searching for other hotels who may be more equipped to deal with so many people* Overall, we had MANY problems but the manager was able to help fix the situation thus we are not writing a negative review but an informative review of what to expect. The one positive thing was SAMANTHA (works front desk). She was a ray of sunshine and was a sweetheart! She was very polite, thoughtful and helpful! It was truly APPRECIATED!! Thank you SAMANTHA!

We stayed here using IHG points. I was very disappointed in this hotel. Beds were uncomfortable , and the room was small and basic. No perks at all. Someone from the front desk did call and asked if we needed anything as I am a priority club member but honestly what were they going to offer? No complementary breakfast offered.

This was a very nice place, service and food was delicious. The room we were in was a little dated but very very clean. Would certainly stay there again but would upgrade to the recently renovated rooms

The hotel is in the center of the downtown area. You can park your car nearby and children are welcome. There is also a swimming pool plus a dining room The lady at the desk was very helpful when we checked in.

This is one nice hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful when we arrived and when we left. Our room was spotless and fresh. The only thing we disliked was the bed pillows which were very small and thick making it hard to get used to. Our rate did not include breakfast but we ate at the in house restaurant. The food was nice but the price was very expensive for a buffet. The experience overall was fine and we'd return making sure our room was not near the ice machine which was very loud when used.

Not going to kid anyone, we stayed here because the Hampton Inn was booked. Location was giod with easy walking to downtown. Easy parking. The rooms had been updated. Hallways and common areas on the darker side. Clean, just needs some more updates.
