I had reserved my room beginning Saturday, as I was planning to arrive very late that evening. I completed the check-in process through the app on Saturday afternoon. However, upon my arrival at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled on Saturday. This caused a significant inconvenience, as I had to wait approximately 30 minutes before receiving my room keys. Once I entered the room, which was booked for two guests, I found that only one set of towels had been provided. Throughout my four-day stay, housekeeping service was inconsistent. My room was serviced only twice, and the second time occurred only after I personally went to inquire why it had not been cleaned. The explanation given was that I had placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door—yet no such sign had ever been present in my room. When service was provided, the quality did not meet basic standards. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the trash can was not emptied, and the bed was made with only one sheet, without the additional sheet and duvet that should have been provided. Additionally, I had booked this stay as a VIP anniversary trip, and I was very disappointed that no amenities or special touches were arranged to acknowledge the occasion, despite the information provided at booking. Overall, this experience fell short of the service and standards I expected.

Very conveniently located to Miami/South Beach. There were tons of great restaurants and bars and lots of stores. The hotel was nice and in great repair. Valet parking is spendy and even slower than expected (15 mins was almost half an hour). The room was awesome, clean and there was a hand written note with a bottle of champagne, which was really nice. The front desk worker sending us to the wrong building because she is “still new” was less new. Staff was the least friendly (and competent) in the 5 different hotels we stayed in.

The trip of my dreams !!!

I had a wonderful time for my first time travelling alone. I will so do it again and I met some amazing people too. Uma House was beautiful with old Hollywood aesthetics. The only thing it was missing was not having a hot tub. But I enjoyed happy hour and all the staff was so nice and accommodating not to mention handsome men and gorgeous women working there. It was so perfect for such a great trip and I was spoiled rotten.

I was given an "Accessible", which I did not need. The shower stall bled into the bathroom floor with no barrier, to allow for wheelchair access. Fine. But, with no way to.keep the water within the.stall, water flooded out into the bathroom and from there into the room itself. Took over.a dozen towels to mop up. And even before this occurred, the room had a mustry smell, i assume from previous floods.

Excellent you must stay.

Uma exceeded our expectations. The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay great. Uma includes so many free amenities you’d have to pay elsewhere. From the bottle of champagne on arrival, to the free happy hour wine everyday, to the beach chairs is an incredible value for south beach. On top of all of that they let us check in 6 hours early and for a small fee let us stay 4 hours late our last day because we had a late flight. The beds were so comfortable and everything so clean I felt at home the whole time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, thank you all.

We were thrilled with our stay at Uma House! I travel a lot and am extremely picky about where I stay because I want to be comfortable (clean room, comfortable bed, good amenities), and I want to feel safe. I almost passed Uma house up because the rates were so much lower than other comparable places - I thought there might be something wrong with it. I hit the jackpot with this place. Fantastic location, very safe and clean (no unpleasant odors in the room - I can’t stand musty rooms or ones that stink of cleaning products), bright sunny room, the employees were friendly and helpful, and we LOVED the amenities. Beautiful rooftops on each building, a great pool lounge area, great views, discounts at the restaurant in the sunrise building, free beach chairs at Boucher brothers, and they stored our bags for us after we checked out. In a few of the reviews I read before booking, people complained about not being able to open windows. The room is very well ventilated and it is hot and humid as heck outside, so I don’t know why anyone would want to open their window anyway. A note for the hotel - it would be great if there were more hooks for hanging beach towels and regular towels. I put one of my employees up in a room at the hotel as well and she thought it was fantastic. We both plan to stay at Uma again if we find ourselves in Miami Beach.

This property used to be part of the old apartments in Miami Beach that was converted into a hotel. This is maybe the cleanest hotel I’ve been in a long time. The lobby service was superb. I suggest take the valet. Collins Ave is just 1/2 block away and Lincoln Road just 4 blocks away. You can enjoy Miami Beach at it fullest and still have a relaxing staying at this hotel.

Lovely experience with excellent & friendly staff. Lift in our block wasn’t working but no biggie as porter helped u up stairs 1 flight with the cases. Paid for breakfast in Cafe American on corner which was excellent. Rooftop pool area was much bigger than thought & happy hour was perfect from 5-6 after a day out & about. Would definitely recommend.

Check in process was smooth, all staff were super nice. Location very convenient - Close walk to the beach! Rooftop pool was great - it was clean and floaties were provided. Cons: we stayed in the building without the rooftop pool so any time we wanted to go back to the room, we needed to walk through the outside street. Wish we stayed in the building with the pool. Also, the drinks at the rooftop pool were outrageously expensive!!! I was hoping to have a few when lounging around but after getting the first little Margarita at $23 US, I didn’t dare order a second one.

This is our second stay at Uma House. This visit we stayed in the superior suite and it is must book. it was spacious, had two bathrooms, 1 king bed, one murphy bed that we could transform into a hang out area. Uma house is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. adding breakfast to your booking is a must. there’s an option for everyone. complimentary bikes during our stay, 2 beach chairs very close, and happy hour in the lobby from 5-6 everyday. the pool is peaceful and there’s ample areas to lounge and sit. this is our favorite hotel in south beach and i recommend it to everyone. exceeded expectations!
