The cleaning needs better attention upon entering the smell was unbearable, they used urinal sense in the vents we had to take them down and put them away after that there was a TV issue where the subscription to TiVo was an active so I had to work around that. Also, there were sent to make ants and bugs. Go away later to find out that there were ants and cockroaches everywhere.

I don’t know what the room service is like because I didn’t get any. I had to clean my own room while I was recovering from surgery. I asked the receptionist why I wasn’t receiving room service? She told me I had to go through the third party that I booked through. I messaged Expedia (whom I thought was my booking party) but I didn’t get a response. I also saw a picture of a stove in the room I chose. There was no stove. There was a double iron hot plate with one eye smaller than the other. The plates didn’t get that hot. Some of my food was butchered because of the lack of high temperature. So I had to spend more money on take out because I could t cook properly. There weren’t a lot of plug outlets to use around the apartment either. I had to unplug one thing just to plug up something else. For example only one outlet in the kitchen with out a stove, and one receiver plug in the bathroom was ridiculous. The hot water was a ‘cross your fingers situation’ and there wasn’t any hot water in the kitchen. It was hard to get the dishes clean. There was still trash left in the room and spaghetti sauce on the wall when I arrived. The blankets were very thin with sharp edges that would scratch and cut you while you sleep through the night. The view from my room was beautiful. The beachfront was a very short walk with multiple food options. Now that was the best part. Valet was mandatory. Which was a little annoying but the staff was friendly and they made efforts to stay professional

Honestly, it was fine. It was what is was advertised. It’s small but has what you need. It was clean but dated. The view was very pretty! What they don’t advertise is that yes there is free parking but you have to wait about 30 mins to get your car. So if you need to go somewhere be ready early. For the price it was fine, i don’t know if I would come again, but I wouldn’t say I would never come back.

My stay at Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach was amazing from start to finish. The private beach access was peaceful, clean, and never crowded—it truly felt like my own little getaway. I enjoyed the live band, which played great music without being too loud, creating the perfect atmosphere. The bar was also very cool and relaxed, making evenings enjoyable without feeling overwhelming. What I loved most is that everything was within walking distance—restaurants, cafés, shops, and entertainment—so I didn’t need a car at all. The area is safe and easy to navigate, especially at night. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made my stay even better. If you value comfort, walkability, great service, and a calm beach experience, I highly recommend Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach. I would happily return!with my husband

The hotel itself is nice, and I’m sure some rooms are much better, but unfortunately, our room was quite disappointing. It was very old and in need of renovation. On the first day, the air conditioner worked fine, but then it stopped cooling completely. The staff tried to help and brought us a portable air conditioner, but it was very noisy. The beds and mattresses were quite old, the room didn’t feel very clean, and there was a terrible smell everywhere — in the room and throughout the hotel. Overall, there were many small details that made the stay less comfortable than expected. With some updates, better cleaning, and maintenance, this hotel could be much better.

We got the balcony view 1629 and it was decent. The bed wasn’t comfortable. It kept making noise when you toss and turn. Our back hurted the next day. We found a couple of roaches. They barely had towels. Bring your own beach towels and towels for back up. They only communicate through email. The balcony view was amazing.

I was pleased with the location and the ocean view. The place is not five star rating but for the price, you can't beat it. Also a big plus is the free parking which is a rarity in this area.

Room was questionable in cleanliness. Every single area in the bathroom (floor tile, bathtub, faucets, door jam) were painted over. This makes me wonder how it can possibly get cleaned after each stay. The view was NOT as pictured in the listing (even after identifying the same room), all we could see is the top of the roof. We got put into the wrong room thanks to Expedia’s incompetence, however I think this property management team needs to closely monitor their standards because this room was disgusting.

Bathroom was dirty.. Bathroom sink stayed clogged.. Room wasn't what was advertised on site.. Only 2 washcloths was given had to purchase more.. Who uses 1 washcloth?! Water was cold/warm.. The air barely worked.. & the doors.. Oh My God the doors.. You could hear all night & day people coming & going.. You could hear the doors closing from down the hall.. Sometimes sound like people were slamming their door.. & this isn't My 1st time staying at this location.. I've been staying there since 2017 & this has been My worst experience.. Due to the room..
