Disliked: Room comfort
Checked in Tuesday, door key packed didn’t work. Checked out Saturday, staff was changing batteries to keypad. Way too many days to fix an issue. Not all lights or sockets in room worked. Balcony absolutely not clean. Hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. Quiet, friendly staff. Close to everything, Huge hotel room. Great value.
Old design with solid materials! Nice bed! Large room

This was probably the worst loving experience we have ever encountered. It was a serious hassle, trying to get a code to get into the building as well as into the rooms. It literally took us two hours from the time we were at the front door to the time we went into the room and then we were immediately evacuated because some people were smoking marijuana, and set off the fire alarm. The fire department showed up and cleared the building and eventually we got back into our rooms. This place looked really nice on Expedia, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The key codes on both rooms were defective and the key to get into the room did not work either, we eventually got it all figured out, but my goodness who wants to deal with that.
Do not stay here! Booked a room here, when we got back at the end of the night we realized we would not be able to lock our room door at night as the latch bolt had been broken off from someone clearly breaking into the room. There are also no interior deadbolt locks. The door locks they have do not need a code to lock. So anyone can walk by and quite literally lock you in your own room with no way of getting out unless staff opens the door with code. There is also no on site staff so you’d be waiting an hour or till the next day for someone to let you out. Upon request of partial to full refund the management has refused to work with us on reasonably solving the issue
I was expecting a working pool and it did not happen. When I spoke with the management on the first night they started the stalling tactics. The stalling tactic went into the next day starting at 9am. After texting with the manager over and over and more stalling tactics. I was told the pool was closed until further notice because it needed a part that was on order. FinallyI was given a full refund. However, they first offered me 100 dollars which was unexceptionable. If they would have said in the ad the pool was closed. I would have picked another place. The place was old but well maintained. My room was large with a seating area. The A/C worked great. The location was very good. Just 3 short blocks to the beach. Several blocks to Whole food but walkable. Roami, just be honest in your ad. Now I will never stay in one of your properties. A lie is a lie and stalling is not good customer service. I was honest in my review about the property and the positive things about it. I moved next door and the customer service was excellent from the first minute I got there. The women at the front desk informed me of a problem with the elevator and promptly let me check in 4 hours early. Customer service and truth in advertising.
The location is great, two blocks off the beach, with a CVS accross the street and restaurants in all directions. There is no front desk agent, so check in and check out are through a website, which is nice but i would prefer a human in there. Overall it was a pretty good hotel for the price, would stay again 👍

The property has potential if it had proper maintenance and management. The pool was very dirty. Hallways smelled moldy. Look like the vacuum has not been there for a while. Room was clean.

Great location. NO front desk help. Took ten hours to receive a call back when in need of help. Room smelled like mildew. Bathroom door didn't open or close smoothly. Parking situation terrible and massively expensive. Massive traffic all around.
