There was poop on the wall in the bathroom. When I wanted to say it at checkout I felt very rushed and didn’t get to say anything. The smoke alarm was covered by a plastic bag, and there was no elevator which they only tell you via a sign at check-in. The guy at check-in was kind, just felt like I needed to shower from staying in that room. Would have asked for my money back if I wasn’t rushed when checking out.

The staff members were a bit snippy at first, but once we got into the check in procedure they got a lot better. The elevator was down for maintenance, so we had to swap rooms as I am disabled and cannot make it upstairs (especially several flights of stairs) but it all worked out in the end and the person who checked me in was very helpful in getting me settled in.

Elevators were out of order the entire time I was there. For eight days. Had to go up three flights of stairs to my room. And I was at the end of the hallway and somebody puts their clothes in the dryer at midnight. Very noisy!!!

When we got to the room, we found that the closet doors were off the tracks and the manual lock on the door didn't work, so that was the not-so-good part. On the plus side, the breakfast was good. The lady who was in charge of the food was very sweet, kind and very on top of keeping the area clean and stocked. The room was clean and the bathroom was stocked. When we checked out, I did let the guy at the desk know about the lock, so hopefully that gets fixed. Overall, we'd probably stay there again. The parking lot didn't have people loitering and appeared to be clean and well kept.

So what seemed like it would be a normal stay went very wrong. My family and I arrived at the hotel after a very long day to be told that we had to carry all of our belongings up the stairs because the elevator was out of service. Then when we finally got our room keys we went up the stairs into our room to discover THERE WERE PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THERE. Mortified my family and I backed out of the room as fast as we could and went back down the stairs to tell the front desk that we needed a different room. When we made it back down to the desk there was no one there so I had to bang on the counter to get someone’s attention. After I told them what had happened they were completely shocked and of course apologized and said the manager would provide some kind of accommodation in the morning. However, instead of just getting us a new room immediately he went upstairs and left us waiting there, holding all of our stuff. This was at midnight so we were beyond exhausted. The front desk worker came back to the desk, finally got us a new room key FOR THE THIRD FLOOR. So we then had to take our stuff and lug it up 3 flights of stairs. To walk into a room that smelled like wet dog and wasn’t even cleaned that well. No refund, no form of compensation was given. I will never be coming back.

Good property overall, though our room on the 4th floor by the elevator had bouncy floorboards, which is an unsettling feeling when you first walk into the room. Feels like you’re experiencing an earthquake.

The property overall was well kept and the staff were above and beyond friendly and accommodating. Everyday the maid would bring us fresh towels and toiletries, even if we didn’t ask for them. The pool and jacuzzi were clean. The only thing that we didn’t like was our sofa pull out bed in the king suite looked like it was slept in, but never remade. When I brought it to the attention of staff though, they gave us fresh bedding. Otherwise overall I’d give it a 4 stars.
