Centrally Located.. Great Place to stay.. Clean rooms, Good Air-con.. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast spread was big and good.. Fit for western as well as Asian guests.. Would specifically recommend for a Business Trip.. the Best..
Loved the place staff are very friendly could not doo enough to help..hotel it’s self was mint..booked on line found out when we checked in you have to pay a extra fee off 20% on top off room costs not happy as should have been told this when booked apartment bitter pill to swallow.. Will not let that cloud my judgement of the y2 hotel as the place it’s self is amazing.. Would I stay again yes but with the extra charge could have had a 5 star hotel in the same area which includes the 20%.. Am going again in April for 3 weeks as the area is great..🤩
This is a very busy hotel (although the whole of Manila is busy). It was clean and tidy with good air-conditioning in the rooms. The service is friendly. The biggest issue with this hotel is the elevator (lift) system. 2 lifts services 20 floors. If you can be patient, it is fine, but I found myself running late due to the lifts on a couple of occasions. The restaurant where breakfast is served is good, although, I ordered a Thai Beef Salad two nights in a row, but the second time I ordered it must have been made by a different Chef as it was completely different...not what I was expecting but still tasty. All in all this hotel is quite good. Location seemed to be OK, supermarket, bars and restaurants nearby.
Our family's go-to staycation hotel. Service is consistenly excellent and rooms are value for money. Because of its location, good restaurants are within walking distance. Always a marvelous stay and i recommend to families.
Always a great treat spending my stay-cations at y2 hotel! Great service and lovely rooms every single time! The hotel staff are very welcoming every time I come. The housekeeping ladies and gentlemen are always great at their jobs! Definitely my favorite hotel in metro manila!
I’ve probably stayed over a thousand nights in hotels my entire life. This is the first time I’ve had to stay in a hotel with no hot water. 2 days in a row! We booked a 2 bedroom suite here in Feb for business. We reached the hotel at noon to check in. The front desk told us that we couldn’t check in yet because even though the room was vacated, house keeping was cleaning it up. Fair enough - so we asked for their help to prioritise it while we went for lunch. Came back over an hour later and the room was still being ‘cleaned by house keeping’. So clearly these guys didn’t really prioritise it, but it’s their prerogative since check in is at 2, but it would have been nice if they did since we then ended up sitting at the lobby for 20mins, but it’s totally within their right. At this point I was thinking okay maybe 4.5 stars. So we went up the room, put our stuff down and decided to go for some room service. Menu looked pretty good and we were famished so we decided to go for some pizza and a local pork thing. So we called room service and were first told that there were no medium pizzas, only small pizzas. So there was this nagging suspicion that maybe that was the case so that you’d have to order more pizzas, and small pizzas clearly have better margins. But hey, stuff runs out some time right (though it really shouldn’t at lunch time). Anyway the food arrived, and my it was the most unappetizing presentation ever. The pizza were in decrepit cardboard boxes and the pork thing was in this plastic bento container. So it was kinda gross and we just tried a little of it and left it on the table. Best part - Housekeeping let it remain on the table till the third day (where I am typing this review, don’t know if they will clear it still). Okay so this takes it down to maybe 3.5 stars for me. So we went for a bunch of meetings, which only finished really late at night, and we all crashed when we got back. Bed is ok, nothing to write home about. The next morning we were woken up a little earlier than we expected because of hotel staff knocking on the door for a ‘security check’. What kind of hospitality is that? Who the heck knocks on your door early in the morning in a hotel for a ‘security check’. Isn’t that what your Guards at the lobby are supposed to do. Anyway we went back to sleep, and when we woke up again we were running late for our meeting, and all tried to jump in for a quick shower before the meeting. Imagine the horror when we realised the water was cold. Initially I thought I wasn’t using the tap right or something, having never ran into a hotel with no hot water before (especially not one that rates themselves as 4 Star), but there really was no hot water. Unpleasant security check and no hot water? That takes it down to 2.5 stars for me. Before we left for our day of meetings, we told the housekeeper who came in to clean our room in no uncertain terms that the hot water needs to be fixed by the day. Again another packed day of business, then late night drinks and going out with local friends till late. So we came back and crashed again, and woke up the next day ... to no hot water again. At this point it was just completely unacceptable. We tried calling front desk, but as you can see from the image nobody picked up after minutes and after repeated calls. So we had to go out into the hallway and hijack someone and force them to find an engineer. She said that the engineer can be here in ‘5 minutes’ In the time that she said the engineer will be here, I finished writing this review If this is isn’t solid 1 Star, I don’t know what else it is
This was my first time in this hotel. The yellow taxi from the airport didn’t have a hard time finding this hotel. Although nit spacious the lobby was cozy. The staff at the lobby was so courteous. He informed me that the booked room for me was a single room and it was fully booked and he upgraded me a suite with 2 bedroom. Upon entering the room it was superb and I was awed by the furnishings and how spacious the room was. I had a nice stay. The place us bear to shopping center. I recommend this to everyone. My inky comment is that the room smells cigarette and although it has a no smoking room sign.
I stayed here for a conference. The good news is that the price was reasonable and that I had a suite with a kitchenette and refrigerator. Most of the staff members I met were friendly and tried to be helpful. But the furniture was flimsy and uncomfortable, the carpets were threadbare and not altogether clean, there wasn't enough space to hang clothes, the corridors were narrow and unappealing, and the elevators took forever. The hotel's location is also a problem: on the edge of a red light district, with traffic that is terrible even by Manila standards, and not particularly close to anywhere you'd want to go. I've stayed at far worse hotels, but there are so many luxurious and relatively inexpensive hotels in Manila that I can't imagine ever staying here again.
We (group of friends) stayed here overnight via a voucher from Dealgrocer. It is close to some malls (Powerplant Mall, Century Mall) and other restaurants so it has access to other dining options and places to go to. The hotel has 2 restaurants and a pool at the top floor. All units has 2 rooms, are relatively new, clean and has good decor. The downside is that the hallways leading to the rooms are smelly. It seems that the hotel doesn't have enough ventilation to flush out cooking (allowed in the rooms) and food doors from the units. They provided air purifiers on the hallways but sometimes it can't mask the odors. Also the breakfast buffet is also below expectation. The selection is few and it is not tasty. Overall, it's not bad for a short stay and as a quick staycation place but I would not recommend it for a longer period stay.
Booked a two bedroom suite last october during our short visit to manila. The location was perfect & overall good value for your money. The Suite was spacious and well decorated. The rooms were clean and the kitchen had all the amenities needed. Although I found the duvet thinner than what I was hoping for and the second bedroom did not have a tv. Definitely worth recommending & will come back again.
