Good hotel

It’s in a good location but the property needs some updating and cleaning.

Property is clean. Staffs are helpful and professional. However, in the room that we stayed, the power outlet provided in their working desk is not working.

The room was nice and clean but the shower need some upgrading. It look so old and rusty. The chairs at the buffet restaurant also need to be replaced. They looked so old and worn. The service was terrible especially the in-room dining. Food arrived so late and was cold. Meat was so chewy I couldn't even slice it. The hot chocolate spilled and dried up on the table napkin and utensils. I complained and showed to the server who brought the food to our room but didn’t do anything about it. The coffee pot was almost empty and the coffee was not hot anymore. They didn't bring a coffee cup and creamer and sweetener nor sugar. One night when we left the hotel to go to a restaurant, the concierge did not help us with our stuff and was just standing there. My wife was very upset because she was expecting the concierge to open the car door for her and help her with her stuff because she was carrying our baby.

Worst check in experience ever. A true example of bad management and not showing guests they are valued. To be clear, we understand initial mistakes can occur, however, how the hotel makes up for the mistake and makes guests feel valued is where Acacia has failed. The following is very long so I will put up front that the service we received from everyone else at the hotel was wonderful. This includes the bag porters, Ivan at the front desk, the dining room staff and housekeeping that set up an additional cot in my room. Thank you to them!! Detailed review: Arrived with my family around 6pm. Upon trying to check in, learned that the there a problem with reservations, hotel was over sold and all 18 of us were being transferred to the Crimson hotel. All of us had booked separately last September and all of us had already paid for our rooms. We all do not share the same last name so we do not understand how all of us "coincidentally" happened to be picked to be transferred. While we are discussing how the hotel will remedy the "lack" of rooms, we witness person after person checking in after us. Apparently there are rooms available for them but not us. Almost seems like we were targeted and discriminated against. Earlier in our vacation we had stayed 9 days at the Crimson (which was a beautiful stay, very accommodating and welcoming staff) and had specifically booked Acacia for a different experience.

I stayed at Acacia for two nights. I usually stayed at the neighboring hotels but would like to try this hotel. Before arriving I called them to ask if I can drop off my bags earlier. The operator had hanged up on me multiple times but got thru finally but conversation was quite challenging. I arrived at the hotel early and greeted by the concierge professionally. I asked if they can take me to the nearby malls as I know I can't check in before 3pm. The shuttle service is very good and the staff are very professional. I came back at 3pm and have to wait for one hour for my room to be ready also Info given to me about my room was incorrect. The next day, I lined up to be seated and the male attendants thought I was with somebody and rudely asked me to follow the Caucasian customer. There are a couple of really friendly waiters and waitresses but I'm not impressed overall with the food and the service at the restaurant. They have a nice bar at the 16/f that I enjoyed with my friends. Service is great and the entertainment is good enough. I invited my family to dined in at the steak house as we are all tired to go out. We had a lovely meal and service is good. But the next day they called and said they forgot to include the bottle of wine on my bill. I told them I'll go down after my breakfast but they tracked me down and made sure I sign the bill before I can even start enjoying my meal. I don't know if I'd like to go back and book my next accommodation at Acacia in Alabang.

Older hotel, rooms kind of plain, hotel has a good location, close to the malls, breakfast buffet not bad a lot of choices. Just an avg. hotel in a good location
