The hotel was a few minutes from the airport and the shuttle service was excellent. Most of the staff were lovely...two exceptions. When I wanted to check in at 2:00 (versus 3:00), I was told rather rudely, that I could but there would be a 10 pound charge to do so. When I sweetly mentioned that, ...
This hotel was in a good location to access other parts of the city. It was 25 minute taxi from the airport which went by pretty quick. The Manchester Victoria train and tram station was a short walk around the corner (4 minutes from hotel door to tram platform). The staff was very helpful with directions ...
Short walk to tram that stops at Old Trafford. After match, most of the 75,000 go in opposite direction, meaning you're not in an endless queue getting back. Short ride to airport by taxi/uber/lyft. Hotel is modern with an upscale feel. Staff friendly and helpful. When our voltage converter was having ...
This is a decent hotel with big rooms at a fairly affordable price. The challenge for my wife and me was we wanted to drop off the rental car and then walk or get a shuttle to our terminal the next morning to fly out of the Manchester Airport. But the hotel is one motorway stop away from the airport! ...

A great deal is just as easy to find in Manchester as a great hotel. You can save 19% on your Orbitz hotel just by traveling in January. It's not the only time of the year that's easy on the wallet: March offers average savings of 14%, April offers average savings of 13%, and Orbitz features great hotel deals 365 days a year.
What a great hotel. Fabulous food, stunning historic interiors and architecture with stylish updates. Wonderful staff. Perfect location. I hope to come back!
Located next to Piccadilly Station, it is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Chinatown also close by. Driving to the hotel entrance is rather daunting as there are no directions and online maps and satellite images don't make it clear. Phone number provided is for Dublin headquarters and nobody returned calls. Paid parking is limited and spaces are tight. Rooms are like a 1 bedroom apartment with double bed in the bedroom and 2 sofa beds in living room. Deploying both sofa beds is a challenge and furniture needs rearranging. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen equipped with under counter appliances including mini fridge, oven, compact dishwasher, sink and washing machine leaving no space for base cabinet storage. Plates, glasses, cookware and microwave oven in wall cabinets. Entrance hallway is wasted space that should have been integrated with the living area. Hot water for shower varies by time of day. Can be lukewarm around 5 am. Breakfast available at extra cost. You boil your own eggs. Sliced cheese and cold meets available with bread, pastries and yogurt. Good value for the price compared to full service hotels in immediate vicinity.

Excellent staff. Helpful in a variety of ways. We had varying needs and all were met perfectly this was a good launching point for our walk along the Pennine Way. I would highly recommend his hotel to all traveling in this area.
