Yesterday myself and 2 friends had a soa package at Malmaison. We all felt in need of relaxation following some stressful life events. I spent a long time researching where to go and I made the right decision! All the therapists including my own, Ellie, were wonderful. I had the wrap and my friends had a split facial and massage. Bliss ❤️ Afterwards we had our included coffee and cake and we added lunch. It was all delicious. Thank you so much we will definitely be back xx
This restaurant was booked for a Saturday afternoon dining experience for a bride to be and her 11 friends. We had a private function room and it was very spacious. The food was lovely. I had the pork and highly recommend it but everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. The staff were warm and attentive. Had a wonderful afternoon there.
Started at this hotel on Friday 13th May, great location and fantastic service. Why not 5 stars? The air con was set at 23c and couldn’t be moved, we didn’t realise this until we went to bed. Breakfast was good, checking was easy and the bar had a great atmosphere.
This was my second visit at a Malmaison hotel (the first was a few years back in Leeds) and the Malmaison Manchester lived up to the first wonderful experience. We checked in early due to an early train and only expected to be able to drop our bags but the delightful woman who checked us in found a room that was ready for us and checked us in...even in the middle of the checkout rush. The room was comfy and clean and well outfitted (the towel warmer, minibar and Malmaison-branded toiletries were a welcome touch!) and we loved our two night stay. Dinner at Chez Mal was lovely (try the cocktails and the affogato) and Matthew the host and Tasha our server were really kind to two tired travelers on a Saturday night. Laura on the bar was friendly and fun. We even went back to the bar on Sunday night and enjoyed everything about it. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for all of your kindness and hospitality!
Stayed here for one night as we decided to visit Manchester for a bit of shopping and drinks! The location was fab, just a 5 minute walk from the train station then another 5-10 minute walk into the city centre near the Arndale Shopping Centre. We arrived at the hotel about 12:30pm, check in wasn’t until 3pm, the receptionist managed to move us to another room which was already ready so we could check in early and leave our bags in the room. Great service and friendliness from all the staff from receptionists to the bar staff and waiters. The shower in the room was amazing, the best shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel room!
Second time I'd stayed at this Malmaison. It's a very modern and clean. Location is excellent, right in the centre of Manchester, five minutes from the station (Piccadilly). The staff are all friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the best feature of the rooms i the free standing monsoon showers. Only frustration is there are no windows so the building can feel a little on the stuffy side. The bar downstairs, although predictably overpriced, offers a fantastic range of cocktails and has a nice chilled vibe. I'd definitely stay there again.
A very pleasant environment with relaxation room and sauna. A good selection of treatments at reasonable prices. The therapists Ellie and Donna were excellent. Lunch in the Brasserie was part of our package and offered an extensive menu. In all a lovely relaxing afternoon.
Food was reasonable, tasty, great service, staff are friendly enough, nice and relaxing, nice and chilled out place, you forget your in the centre of Manchester, glad we went, may try the rooms next time.
Booked a Friday night for myself and my girlfriend for her birthday on the 50/50 deal. On arrival I was welcomed back as I’ve stayed before and when I said it was Anas birthday we were given free cocktails, a nice touch. The room was clean and the usual good standard at Mal. The food was delicious and the bar has a great atmosphere. Nothing is too Much trouble. It’s the kind of experience that will keep me coming back time and again! Thanks guys!!
I stayed in this hotel on a Sunday evening, it was quiet and a really good rate. I was offered the chance to upgrade and got the Romeo and Juliet Suite! Sheer class. A lovely soak in the sunken bath and an excellent night's sleep. The only minor gripe was that the shower, whilst it had wonderful power, did not allow a 6ft person to stand under it. The breakfast was freshly cooked, the coffee was hot and strong. If you are offered "breakfast included", it will be continental breakfast. However, the cooked breakfast is only another £2. Well worth it. A great experience
