This hotel was really close to Manchester Piccadilly station and I was due to go to the airport the day after so it was a perfect fit. The room was quite snug, but it was a budget hotel. The air conditioning didn't really do anything but the window opened as far as it would go was good enough. There was a Dominoes pizza next door, and a few.shops further up the street including Aldi and M&S. I would stay here again!

Suitable for overnight business trip. Continental breakfast only as seems to be the case with Ibis Budget. Car parking at New Islington Tram stop 2 minutes away. [£6 for 24 hour stay). Coins of phone to pay. Very good Thai restaurant {Jub] a few steps away.

Came here for the night with my husband as we were in manchester for the night exploring. You get what you pay for here. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, ive given this 4 stars because the toilet is extremelly tight with no window, I am very claustrophobic so this wasnt to great for me. The sink is in the bedroom which I didnt forsee any issues with to begin with but then when you use it it can wake the other person up who’s still trying to sleep! The shutter blind was broken so it didnt close all the way down, didnt bother mentioning it t anyone as we were only there for 1 night. Overall pleasant staff, the room does what it says on the tin.

Went to a gig in the Manchester Apollo and need a room for the night, not too far away. We decided to stay in this hotel and it was the right choice. Friendly fast check in, clean, affordable and quiet.

Perfect place to stay: close to the tram station, walkable distance from the train station Picadilly, beautiful calm area along the Ashton canal for jogging before or after work. Nice and friendly staff.

My request for a room on a high floor was met - they put me in a room on the top floor and it was ready for me on arrival before the 2pm official check-in time. The room had all I needed - except for the requirements for hot drinks, but the price was very cheap and inclusive of breakfast, which was fine though not surprisingly unexceptional. Very pleasant and helpful staff and happily, quiet guests.

I was there a couple of nights ago for a concert. I always use an Ibis, and have used them from Leeds to Frankfurt. The reason is simple - you know what you are going to get, and I have never yet been let down. Small room but spotless, lovely comfy bed - very good after you've had to stand for the previous 2 hours at a concert! Lovely hot shower in the morning then a perfectly adequate breakfast. All I need for an early start is orange juice and coffee, and maybe toast. As soon as the helpful staff had replaced the non-functioning toaster we were good to go! 5 - minute walk to the station and we're done. If only the station was run as efficiently - despite the board saying that the train I got on was for Chester (I checked) the announcer said that we were going to Stoke via Crewe! Fortunately soon sorted

I've stayed at an ibis budget before and so I already know what to expect. You get a basic room, it's clean and even better, it's air conditioned. We had a great night's sleep the two nights we stayed and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile in the early hours of the morning (shoutout to Alice). The security guard (I believe his name was Abid) who greeted us at 4am on our return was great company and a full of knowledge about the area. Uber to the city centre is only £3.

I stayed at this hotel in June for a quick trip to Manchester. Normally I love to treat myself to a luxurious hotel but given I was going to be there for one night I decided to stay somewhere simple. The Ibis Budget hotel met all my needs. Location was ok - not far from the city centre and we took Uber pretty much everywhere as it was so cheap! The hotel itself is very much no frills but this is fine - it doesn’t pretend to be anything else! Reception staff were welcoming and allowed us to store our bags before the room was available. The room itself was basic - separate room for the toilet and the shower was in the bedroom but behind a glass door. Bed was pretty comfy and there was a TV in the room. Most importantly it was very clean. I had breakfast included in my booking - simple offering but perfectly ok considering the price. Cereals, toast, croissants and other pastries were available. All in all a decent stay for an overnight trip - no frills and it is basic but that’s what it’s marketed as.

practical room layout hotel all basics available in room soap towels WiFi, or on sale in reception area. Coffee, snacks and buffet breakfast in room price. Busy hotel well located travelled with 2 jack Russell s no problems, wonderful park nearby
