It's close to the airport terminals, but not the closest. Shuttle bus ride to T3 is only 1 min. About 3 mins to T1 & T2. Large parking lot for those who drive. Fills up towards evening. Check in is speedy if you don't get there when the shuttle bus unloads lots of guests. It's an old building that has rooms and bathrooms updated. Our room has a mini fridge Beds were comfortable for a good night's rest though I was woken up by a very high pitched whine around 2am. Tried to locate the source by turning off fridge and TV. Finally discovered it was the fan motor of the HVAC unit over the entrance. Stepping the fan speed down a notch eliminated the sound. Breakfast buffet was very good. Prepaid for lower price when I checked in. Paid for 1 hour parking to get settled in, then returned the rental car nearby. The Restaurant is open only for dinner and menu has Chinese and Thai items. Didn't dine there as we had eaten elsewhere earlier. Shuttle bus is on demand - have to let the receptionist know when you need to get to the terminals. They do not run regular schedules. There are phones located at the main exits of arrival halls in the terminals. Look up the hotel number there and dial to let them know you need a ride. Overall, very satisfied with this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I fly out of Manchester to get a non-stop flight to Chicago without going to Heathrow. I take the train from Glasgow all the way to the Manchester Airport, call the shuttle and in 15 minutes I'm in my room. Great service. On the morning of my flight, the terminal is literally a three minute shuttle ride. This hotel is always full or nearly so and they've mastered the science of taking care of lots of people. Breakfast buffet is pricey but opens at four am to accommodate early flights.

We decided to stay due to the closeness of the airport & free shuttle. The room was clean & spacious with free wifi. We paid extra for the breakfast which had a cereal bar, cooked English breakfast & a healthier continental breakfast. Was a little disappointed with the temperature of the English breakfast being only warm but everything else was good. Would stay there again.

I stayed overnight to catch a flight home the next morning. The room was large and very comfortable with nice furniture and a wide screen HD TV. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries and a shower cap and large towels. There is a towel warming bar but it didn't seem to work when I turned on the switch to warm it up. There are tea making facilities and complimentary bottled water, but I had to search the whole room to find a plug for the tea kettle. I ate in the Sampan restaurant which serves Asian food, and the meal was excellent, though pricey.

Very good hotel, clean rooms, comfortable, pleasant amenities, friendly and helpful staff, absolutely no complaints, would heartily recommend to fellow travelers, wish I had had more time to languish in the room and enjoy the hotel's other features. Would have wished for a couple of extra amenities including coffeemaker, mini bar ... a little overpriced in my view, but this was my second stay, so clearly the positives outweigh any minor negatives.

Hotel was clean, the shuttle service was reliable. Staff were friendly.

...and this fit the bill. The room was very nice, the staff was professional, there were several different meal options onsite and the hotel shuttle service to the airport was efficient and easy to use. It was a little on the expensive side, but that's to be expected at an airport business-type hotels. My only complaint was that wi-fi was not only not free (this was not a surprise), but it was very expensive. The Manchester airport offers one free hour of wi-fi -suggest you do your surfing there.

Clean and convenient. Staff somewhat miserable. The location is great for Manchester airport.

Hotel was conveniently situated for me to get to the airport early the following morning. My only inconvenience was that the first room key did not work so I had to take luggage back to lobby to get another. Other than that, the room was comfortable, clean, and little extras such as chocolates, water and sleep aid perfumes were in the room. The following morning, coffee and tea were in the lobby, and a free shuttle driven by a really friendly, and helpful driver. Will definitely go back

This was my second visit to this hotel, and I found it as comfortable and convenient as it was two years ago. Take the train to the Manchester Airport and phone for the shuttle. Since the hotel is literally on the airport grounds they can pick you up or drop you off in a matter of moments. They clearly have mastered the art of airport accomodations. The restaurant with early bird buffet is perfect for getting a great start on the day. Hotel staff was superb from the very patient staff at the front desk to the cleanliness of the room. Again, front desk staff and management could not have been kinder, nor more accomodating. I like to fly home from UK from Manchester-save the long trip back to London.

Great hotel and easy to get to the airport with a free shuttle bus!

we were only able to stay for one night to enable us to get flight to orlando on time and reduce travel time.

Surprisingly had to pay 9.90pounds for breakfast . Very convenient location.I arrived at night so unable to give overall impression.

Great room service. Dinner just OK. Room tiny. Breakfast awful. Will not stay here again.

We were just over nighters, having traveled over night from Boston to Manchester UK. We were tired, the hotel curtesy Bus took a long time to arrive ,the slidding door next to the curb was broken we had to board from the Rd. side. There was no porter to help with baggage on arrival. The room smelt of tobaco smoketerribly. The phone and hairdyer were broken. The internet USB wasn't in the drawer or wardrobe, where the notice said it would be. The bedside tables were dirty ,with food . When we compained the PR man tried very hard to make ammends. The room was seedy ---the whole place needed a face lift. The bed was comfortable. A disapointment.

Very convenient to airport with a shuttle service. In room dining menu tasty and resonable.

Well no outlets in the room. I couldn't charge my cell or laptop. Room are small. First room I was given was at the very end of the building. Water was backing up in the sink and the bath tub. I had to play with the flush few times. Room service was good. Saturday and Sunday service was slow. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling from US.

I was quoted $97.15 but paid almost twice that amount at $173.38. I was shocked at the difference. That is my only complaint. I would recommend the Hotel if it were not difference in price Ouch! I was also placed on the farthest point away from the desk.

No Breakfast was included and we thought that it was.

Convenient location to stay the night before a morning flight. Room was small and you pay for the location by having the continual jet takeoff noise. If you can get past that, the food was good, but pricey, in the Asian restaurant. The pub food was also good as well.
