Great location and very convenient to tube. Room small for three people, and rather dusty. Breakfast sufficient, but sparse. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall was consistent with three star ranking.i

We got a family room for four people. It has a double bed and two individual extra beds. But the room was so tiny that we couldn't open the closet or the windows! Also the room was very basic. It didn't have drawers, and we only got a bath towel per person. The hotel doesn't have any amenities. But the location is very good, only a 5 minute walk to Earl Court Station!

I am on a Grandpa trip with my Grandson Dan (21). We are pretty casual and this hotel truly met our needs. The Hotel was very comfortable. It was located within a few blocks from the Earls Court station in Kensington. The neighborhood was great and within walking distance to The Victoria and Albert Museum, Kensington Gardens, etc. The staff was very helpful. The free Internet worked well. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was quite tight but clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Most noisy room/place I ever stayed. Carpet was dirty. No AC. Bottom floor room - open windows for cool. No wash cloths, hand towels, or floor mat provided for the smallest bathroom you can imagine. Shower did not close at bottom and was flush to the flooring resulting in soaked floor after every shower. This then required the use of "one per guest" towel to be used as floor mat. No phone or clock in bedroom. Deposit required to obtain remote to use TV in room. Our room was right next to the breakfast room and the door was never closed resulting in loud noise from 0700-1000 daily. Our front door space to our room was used as laundry storage are every AM. Rooms had large gaps under doors to hallway resulting in no privacy. Very nice large TV in breakfast room mounted on the wall. Staff in breakfast room said "TV could not be turned on because it causes people to linger during their breakfast." Front desk person, [...]was very nice. Front desk staff helpfull with transportation needs. Very dingy "rooming boarding house type facility!

The hotel was exactly what we needed. Somewhere to clean up and get some sleep before our next big adventure. The walls were thin but when it came time to sleep everyone was quiet. The only issue we had was our room being painted during one day of our stay but with the window open until evening the smell mostly cleared out.

Visited all sights, using London passes and oyster passes. Bought before going over. Worth ever penny.Walked a lot, ate everywhere, people of London very helpful, spent 7 days and were joyously tired by the end, would recommend this area to anyone.

The Staff... especially [...] at the main desk... was superb, friendly and helpful. The location close to the Earl's Court Tube station suited all of our needs well. This hotel operates as a B&B which suits us fine as we seldom spend time in the room and roam the city while we are on vacation. The value for the money was quite good.On the negative side, the renovated rooms became quite small when the new bathrooms were placed within the space. The distance from the end of the bed to the wall was about a foot making it a careful walk to get past. Also, a mistake was made in the fitting out of the shower: no wand, just a head in the middle of the shower stall. This makes it difficult to soap up as the water is constantly falling on everything within the stall. (My wife and I each developed a "work around" on this, but it would have been better if we did not have to do so. Perhaps the owner will install wands in the future to remedy this.)

Rooms very, very small. No amenities, other than price and location. Staff moderately friendly, bed pretty comfortable. In a neighborhood brimming with hotels, there's no particular reason to stay at this one.

Great location, great price! Close to everything a tourist wants to see & more. 2 minute walk from underground, restaurants, cafe's & pubs. Rooms are very small, but that's the case in Europe. Friendly & helpful staff. Shower a little small, wouldn't recommend for large person. We loved our experience. The breakfast was adequate. Recommend.

Westbury flooded, moved us to different (upgrade ?) hotel. It was a dive. People walking in off street were quoted 50 pounds (~$83.00) and we paid $113.00. Other hotel not as convenient, hard to find, not very friendly, relatively clean.

The location is great! Rooms are very small. Each of us had 1 bath towel each. No hand towel or face cloth. Flat screen TV but the reception was very fuzzy and only local channels. No cable TV. Beds were a double and a twin. If you just want a place to sleep, it's a good deal.

Absolutely agree with the other reviewer that said this is a bare bones hotel. Considering what the rates are I suppose it is a decent deal, but it really seemed a lot like a hostel except you have a private bathroom. When we initially checked in they gave us a room literally in the basement, next to the utility closet! I really couldn't deal with that, in addition there was a random door to the alleyway in the room that didn't make me feel all that safe, so my husband asked for a change, which they gave us, although we were only then moved to the ground floor. Overall though I will say our experience was fine, the staff were friendly and helpful enough, and the complimentary breakfast was what I expected (cereal, toast, boiled eggs). The location was good in the sense that it was super close to the underground, there was not much in the way of what my husband and I would consider "nightlife" though. I would equate it to being more in the residential area of a downtown location. While there certainly were pubs, You would need to take the underground or taxi to get to the real "nightlife".

Very bare bones hotel, one step above a Hostel. Like a hostel, it has a large number of younger travelers, and seems to be good for groups of 3 or 4 of them. Very clean, nice en-suite bathrooms, but due to the younger clientele (I imagine) you have to give them a deposit to get a remote for the TV. No screens on windows, but that's only a problem with very small children. If they had Wifi, they would be worth it. It's a clean place to sleep that's relatively cheap (it is London, after all) but not much else to recommend it.

Hotel is located close to the tube station (Earl's Court) which made travel throughout London easy. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small which is typical for European small hotels in this price range. The breakfast was a little more than continental as it included eggs and cheese. TV reception was poor as was the channel selection (no CNN).

We had a wonderful time and we really liked the location: the hotel was very close to Earl's Court Subway Station in a very lively area (pubs, pharmacy, supermarket etc). If you land in Gatwick you'll probably get the train to Victoria Station;then, you take the Piccadilly line, four stops and you reach your destination.

The staff was very friendly, but they did not know how to use the wake-up call system and we would have missed our train had we not set our cell phone alarms. The hotel is still finishing construction and the rooms are miniscule. Some of the rooms are not accessible to an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs. I am only 5'6" tall and the bed was too small for me, although my 5'0 fit comfortably. The "double twin" room was only about 8-foot by 8-foot so there was not enough room for the two beds and our luggage. The bathroom was about 3-foot by 2-foot and the shower was about 24-inches square. The breakfast area consisted of folding tables and chairs and the breakfast itself was toast, cereal and instant coffee. These accomodatations were not worth the money that was spent on them. The images that were posted on Orbitz.com and their own website do not reflect the rooms that they provide.

The lady attendant in the morning shift, [...], was wonderful. The hotel was clean, but the rooms were very small. The beds were not comfortable.

I thought the hotel was a perfect little London hotel! Ideal for an on the budget traveler. The staff was so helpful and courteous! I loved every minute of it!

This hotel had great customer service. The staff was very helpful finding our terminal when we left after our weeklong stay. The breakfast was very nice everyday and the location was a block away from a metro stop making travel around london very easy. Hotel was located in a nice neighborhood so we felt very safe walking at night. Rooms were a bit small but that is normal in most european hotels. Overall great stay and value.
