Had a wonderful day here during Easter holidays , very well located , a double room was big with a desk and couch ! A proper double room not a london one ! Just wonder if I was upgraded for free ... i was on the 1st floor, no view but a strong wifi .... yeeees I liked the renewed bathroom with bathtub and wood I will definitely come back ! Well... breakfast is a bit poor and they can do better ... but If included in the deal , no worries ... i dealt with it ;)

Nice, clean, comfortable, okay breakfast and really good value for money. Marlble bathroom, spotless every day, nice staff, close to the underground and buses and lovley Kensington Gardens. What can I say. I am really pleased with my choise of hotel and will definelely be back!

Stayed for 5 nights in this hotel with my partner. We'd stayed in the area previously so knew it was close to two tube stations. There are a couple of well know small supermarkets in the high street, a few bars, coffee shops etc and some restaurants. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to Kensington Gardens. We were in room 105 and it was perfectly fine for our needs. Large bed - king size at least, clean bedding, fridge, TV (reception wasn't great) tea/coffee facilities and a big bathroom with bath/ shower, shaver socket. Clean towels everyday. The wifi worked great. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel so can't comment. We had a limited view from the window as we were at the back of the hotel but this was fine as we had no street noise and were hardly in the room anyway. In fact there was very little noise at all during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if the price was right. At £52 a night you can beat it.

Saw the write ups on this hotel, it was a chance I'm glad I took. What a bargain £260 for 5 nights, Sunday to Friday. To start, it has two tube stations within a couple of minutes walk. Hyde park and Kensington gardens 50 yards away at the end of the street. Loads of shops/pubs/restaurants in the same street as the tubes. The room we stayed in has a king size bed, fridge, jet whirlpool bath, plenty of storage etc. It was next to the lift and we were worried that there would be noise from it, to our relief never heard anything. The window overlooked other rooms but with nets and curtains, privacy was maintained. No noise coming from outside. We didn't book breakfast, as we use porridge pots from a well known store(39p). All in all our stay in London was brilliant!!!

As I was busy and out most of my days in London, I was looking for simple but clean room with a single bed and bathroom for an affordable price. The Troy Hotel was perfect at £50 for the night. The bathroom was also a bit updated, which was nice. I liked that breakfast was included although I left too early to partake. I'd stay again.

Clean and tidy; spacious and well-equipped bedrooms (except maybe for a just little bit narrow shower); good continental breakfast; extremely good price/quality ratio; a stone's throw from Hyde Park, Queensway, Notting Hill Gate, Paddington and well served by tube lines and buses; polite, discreet and professional staff. Don't miss it.

Cozy, basic and quiet. Great location for 24 hours in London. Lovely lobby & staff. Would recommend and stay again. Nothing close by for great food that we could find. Stay closer to downtown for better dinner.

This hotel is a bit dated, but provides everything you need. I stayed here in a twin room with a friend and our room was a fair size, as was the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room and there were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. I have stayed in much smaller rooms in London for not much less and not in such a central position where you normally have to pay more. The hotel is less than 5min walk from Queensway tube station so easy to get to. The breakfast was continental but we knew that when we booked and I thought the choice of food was reasonable. Overall I would say that we got value for money and have no complaints

Well located for Hyde Park and Albert Hall. but pretty basic. It was a reasonable price and I guess you get what you pay for but don't expect an fancy extras. The room we had was small with little room to walk around the bed, TV had an intermittent signal and dodgy sound. the bathroom was equally small and the shower was just big enough for a large adult. Breakfast was continental style with limited options - 2x cereal, toast, fruit in a bowl, cottage cheese and sliced cheese plus hard boiled eggs and a choice of 2x pastries. If you're on a budget and need a bed for the night it does the job, if you want a bit more try somewhere else.

This Hotel appears to be for profit only. No interest in the clients stay. Staff miserable, dated rooms, beds knackered & uncomfortable. Breakfast very basic with no variety. Only upside was its central & near tube station!!
