This hotel is a gem in London. It's a smaller boutique hotel and has personalized service with a very talented staff. It's in a great location with two tube stops located very short easy walks away. From the moment we checked in we were taken under wing. The staff are so friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. They were always quick to offer help and suggestions when needed. Each member of the staff always seemed to be ready, willing and able to go out of their way to make our stay not only in the hotel, but our time in England, perfect. When we were checking out it felt more like we were leaving a friends home than checking out of a hotel. Our room was so cozy and the bathroom large and luxurious. The bed and linens were wonderful. The thermostat in the room worked well and it was always easy to get our room to the perfect temperature to our taste. The hotel is on a quiet side street and we never heard any noise from the street or from other guest rooms. We pre-ordered room service for a very early delivery one morning, it arrived exactly at the time we requested, and it was delicious! As so many have written here, the bar area and barman Esley are lovely. Do try a Gin Martini while there, if you have the inclination, mine was possibly the best I've ever had! I will definitely return to this hotel when in London and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. Special thanks to Jacques and Scott for their kind hospitality!

Upon arrival you immediately feel like you are part of their family. The people are so warm and friendly and will try and make your stay a memorable one. It was so festive and pretty as every corner and niche had something beautiful to admire. The rooms are small and cozy and furnished beautifully. The service is impeccable and they have many repeat guests. Kathrin the Deputy GM and Jacques Conradies the concierge is beyond brilliant and so helpful even in advance of my arrival. They also have magnificent high tea. I think it is the finest in the city.

The living room that hosts the afternoon tea feels traditional and homely, and makes you immediately unwind and feel comfortable amongst your surroundings. The traditional values are echoed within the menu of teas and sandwiches with timeless classics on offer for sweet and savoury delights. On all 3 occasions that I have been to Egerton’s, the service has been exceptional, being present when required to top up teas or scones, and knowing when to let us enjoy our conversation.

We had such a great experience at the Egerton House Hotel. From the time we checked in til the time we left every was extremely nice and helpful. When we checked in we were hungry and the front desk recommended places within walking distance, we chose an Italian place around the corner that was good. Whatever we needed the staff was quick to make a recommendation, call and make a reservation or bring things we needed to our room. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay at a small boutique hotel.

There are no words to describe the experience of staying here. This hotel excels at all the little unexpected things. A wonderfully intimate and luxurious hotel where absolutely nothing is too much trouble. You really feel welcome. I have been in London several times, but this was anyways the best I have had in this city and I will never forget it. The staff is the most professional, committed and friendly I have ever seen so far, that goes out of their way to help you and eager to make our experience incredible. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, well-designed and well equipped with pretty much everything that you could need for your stay. Impeccable cleanliness. Extremely comfortable beds. The furnishings are fantastically make for a warm, elegant atmosphere. Nice touches, like sweets, cakes and fruit in the room. All just perfect. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever enjoyed. Thank you so much to all the staff, exemplary service and hospitality all round. This has been a memorable trip. We hope to return as soon as possible!

The staff at Egerton House was amazing. My husband wasn’t feeling well part of the time and they bent over backwards to cater to our every need. Our room was super comfortable, and the hotel is in the perfect location. We will definitely stay there again when we return to London.

4th floor room, could be considered a little tight, but includes all aspects of a fine hotel room. Great appointments, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Super breakfast room, charming bar. Service across the board tremendous. Very pleased with the staff. Near two tube stations, local restaurants and bars, and Harrod’s (not important though on our list). We would highly recommend to friends and would surely stay again.

The Egerton House is a small brick property with casual British elegance in every detail. Lovely rooms, well stocked with fruit, water, coffee, tea. And a staff that is friendly and engaging without being intrusive. Afternoon tea, made-to-order cocktails, excellent breakfast, all provided with efficiency and ease. A wonderful four night stay for us, a block away from the Victoria and Albert Museum, which was our primary tourist outing. And lovely gifts left on the bed for Christmas Eve. A great stay all around.

My partner and I recently visited London and stayed at the Egerton House Hotel for a week. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. All the staff were terrific. Nothing was too much to ask of the concierge who made getting to know London very easy. They made our stay memorable and comfortable. It truly is a hidden gem in london and we highly reccommend it!

The Egerton aims to be a home from home and in our experience it succeeds! We have stayed several times but on this occasion we thought we would bring our whippet for her first expedition to London. I was a little concerned but need not have worried, it all went so well as the Egerton is very relaxed about dogs! I won't need to bring her bed next time as she preferred the one they provided! They look after the human guests extremely well too! All the staff we met were excellent - very friendly but always professional and they are what makes this place so special (as well as super comfortable beds, lovely crisp bed linen, delicious, decadent breakfast in bed ... I could go on!) Some of the rooms are on the small side, but that is the pay off for staying in this type of period building. It was however extremely quiet, and we didn't experience any noise from other rooms. Parking can sometimes be a bit problematic, one just needs a bit of patience and the staff soon sort it out. Staying here has become an annual Christmas event for us which we hope will continue!
