Staff and service were exceptional! Location in Mayfair is perfect for shopping, tourist spots and even a run in Hyde Park. We booked the two-bedroom Grosvenor suite which was spacious and luxurious for our family of five. Breakfast at Jean-Georges was a daily treat and something we looked forward to begin our day.
We loved every minute of our stay at The Connaught. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The decor is stunning. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. We felt as if we were in a most elegant version of home!
My wife and I have stayed in many of the best hotels around the world over the last eight years. Whilst there a many that compare with the Connaught none compare when it comes to the prompt and courteous service we receive every time we stay at the Connaught .
The Connaught hotel is one of the best hotels in London. The staff is very professional and friendly. The service is excellent, it’s close to everywhere. The rooms have all what you can imagine. The classical design makes it very comfortable.
Beginning with the welcoming doormen , elegant lobby respite with fresh flowers flowing down the resplendent stair case , the ambience is set! Immediately a member of the front desk jumped out from behind the desk to further greet us and establish who we were and begin the checking in process. Unable to give us the upgrade we had hoped for, we were led to what ended up being a comfortable London home room 328. Quiet and simple luxury. There were nice design elements. The bathroom was large and the Star was 5he heated Toto toilet . The rain forest shower as well as large soaking tub were highlights. Concierge team was ex3cellent: Gerrard for making dinner suggestions and reservations, Chris for holding our hand to help us to figure out trains to Windsor castle . The pool is intimate and a very serene part of the hotel experience. The rain water wall is stunning. Bring a bathing suit it’s worth a dunk. I loved just relaxing in my Connaught robe on a lounge chair each dat at 4pm . Hotel did have a suite available during our stay but we grew accustomed to our 328 and staid our. Butler is very understated but there if you need him. Maid service is excellent as the pillow selection. One of the best pillows I’ve ever had!
All the staff at The Connaught made our recent engagement there the experience of a lifetime! From the sensational upgrade to the Terrace Suite (thanks to front office manager Luis), to the thoughtful touches by Ioana (head of guest relations) with flowers and balloons, to the genuinely warm and superb service we had bestowed upon us every step of the way by all their staff, we were truly touched. Agostino (head of the Connaught bar) did a simply outstanding job during the cocktail Masterclass and I'm glad to say my fiance was genuinely surprised! Sincere thanks to all of you at The Connaught for helping us create an amazing lifetime memory and we now know that your hotel will forever be our home away from home whenever we visit London.
Stayed for two nights during the snow in mid March. Welcoming staff, very comfortable rooms, nice spa and pool and exquisite restaurants. We loved our stay and would love to return. Both old and new sections of the hotel offer different perspectives and the award winning bar isn’t bad either!
Stayed at the Connaught recently. Wow what a hotel. It feels like you are a guest in a London Town house. The staff are all happy friendly and always attentive to every need. The food in the bar was amazing the Granary toast with avocado salmon was the best I have ever had.. the cocktails in the bar were a wonder to behold .. the bar staff were so polite and well informed... this hotel is the standard which all other hotels should strive for... Well done and hope I will be back soon.
Incredible service! Impeccable quality! I can not recommend this hotel highly enough! Particularly pointing out concierge and the security team were the epitome of professionalism. My thanks to the whole team! Look forward to working out of the Connaught again, hopefully very soon!
The Connaught is the example of what a true Palace is when it is working flawlessly. My entire stay was more than perfect. People cared, were nice, the room was fantastic, and the restaurants were excellent and efficient. For sure the best establishment in London and one of the worlds’ best. Thank you! PS: My previous rating grievances were taken seriously and fully restored with exponential exaggeration to excel!!!! Staff and management really seem to care at the Connaught. Well done.
