Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Room was nothing like was pictured above. Was on the lower ground floor Room 101. The bathroom was extremely dated, however shower was good. Immediately we could hear people walking around on the upper level which was reception so that continued into the early hours and first thing in the morning. We could hear the underground going past well into the early hours. We could hear staff talking at reception through the ceiling, baring in mind reception is open 24/7. In the morning we were woken again at 6am by other guests and staff due to thin walls and walking around upstairs, the cleaners were extremely noisy in the morning as the cleaning cupboard was opposite. They were slamming doors and shouting between themselves. We were then woken again by the fire alarm going off at 8:00, we were not informed there would be a test before hand. As we left the room we had to navigate around all the cleaners equipment and other rooms dirty bin bags. To access the stairs. There was a sign in the desk stating a fire alarm test would be done the Monday, but this was the Sunday. Wouldn’t stay here again and have had much better experiences at bigger brands, I didn’t feel especially safe staying here
