Hi. All the staff at this hotel are great. In particular I would like to highlight Archie who works at the bar, and who always puts the customer first. Archie always notices when I come in and pours my beer without even asking. Best customer service ever. Please advance him. Best regards,
Very good location in the centre of London. Nice comfortable rooms. Efficient and nice people who take a good care of your desires and requests. Breakfast included in the room price worth it. We definitely will come back.
This hotel is extremely well located within a 3 minute walk to the Baker St Tube. we were offered a free upgrade when we checked in and there were large bowls of delicious fresh apples available at the Reception Desk. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. We would recommend it.
We was doomed with the noise, poor service at reception when complaining . Literally didn't sleep a minute, we was so surprised taking into account we was staying at a park plaza, we not recommend, we was told ' come back when we've had the refurbishment', not the best experience
The location is very good as it is only two minutes walk from Baker Street tube station. Comfortable bed and pillows. However, the facilities are not meeting the four star standard I would say. They have about 20 rooms on each floor and there is only one lift. The room is small with very standard and minimum decoration. A lot of things are well hidden with no clear signs especially the kettle and tea set and the mini bar. There is no ventilation in the bathroom which makes the room humid very easily after shower. The air-conditioning is centrally controlled and you cannot change the mode. We had cold air-conditioning in late October when it is about 15 degrees outside. Had to ask for a radiator to keep warm. Very old wooden floor makes a lot of noise when you walk. If you have to use the bathroom during the night, there is no way that your partner will not be waken up by the floor noise. Sound proofing is also poor and we had a particularly bad experience where there are a few drunk people on our floor talking and laughing in the corridor at 2:15am on a Friday. And we could hear every single word they said very clearly. The staff is ok but not excellent. I called for room service and after I said what I want, the staff member just said 'OK' and put the phone down on their desk leaving me on the other side of the phone not knowing what is going to happen.
The staff at this Hotel are very courteous and the service at the bar is quite good. Fatmir, the manager has served me and my friends in an absolutely professional way. I would definitely visit again!
Great position for most of London's amenities. Pleasant & accommodating staff, Nice sized bed. Poor room lighting. Not liking the quirky glass bathroom door. Light & fluffy scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Arrived late afternoon and booked in,given keys to room. On opening door, realised that room looked nothing like those on the website! Room although had been cleaned had not been finished, pillows not on bed and cushions piled on chair in corner of room! No time to mention this as we had to get quickly changed for an evening event in the area. Staff polite, breakfast good value, ideal location for sight seeing being close to Regent's Park.
Stayed here on Saturday night to attend a party locally. Room appeared fine when we check in however we later discovered: - Shower drain blocked / very slow draining and leaked accords bathroom floor. - No hot water in room when we returned just after midnight (we had to have cold showers). - Extractor fan in bathroom on all the time and very noisy which made it hard to get to sleep. - Window when opened let on the noise of an even louder AC Unit / External Extractor Fan. I tried to raise these complaints upon checkout but the the lady on checkout was not at all interested. Would not stay here again.
Very helpful staff when it came to resolving a double booking problem. Traditional feel to hotel preserved, but modern commodities. Excellent location for business in central / West London as well as sightseeing, and yet, quiet during night time.
