Don't dare stay here!
Do not stay in this apartment. I've never left a hotel review before, but I'm pissed off enough about this place to write a review.
First, it is an apartment, not a hotel. There is no maid service. You pick up your (one) key off-site and never see anyone again. There is no one to help you.
The phone number on the website was incorrect for calling from the US.
There was no smoke detector.
The "wood" floors were fake.
The kitchen was so narrow one couldn't fully open the fridge door.
There was a washing machine with no dryer.
Dilapidated carpet in the hallway (outside the unit) and peeling paint on the ceiling.
Over-the-air TV.
Mirror in bathroom came off wall and was sitting on the sink so I had to get down on one knee to shave.
Showerhead holder and hot water control both broken.
Scaffolding on building and once a workman walking right outside our window.
I was unhappy enough to try, unsuccessfully, to get a refund for part of our 6-night stay. I paid $1400 for six nights. Thanks to more recent reviews, they will not get that amount again.
Moral of the story: never stay in a place without reviews.
The only positive things I can say is that the WIFI was excellent and that the area around the hotel, and its proximity to the Underground, were good.
My kids, who usually like hotels, complained incessantly about this place, enough that we left one day early (getting no partial refund) and stayed elsewhere. AVOID THIS PLACE!
