The hotel is very quaint - great location and fantastic customer service. No elevator though!!!! We stayed in the 4th floor so keep that in mind but the room was huge with a BIG bathtub - you feel inside a Harry Potter book in that room! we all had a great time -

The room and bathroom were renovated. Genetically cozy and clean. Large bathroom, but without a bath only a shower cabin. The shower is hot and has a good flow. The biggest minus is that there is a lot of noise, namely from ten o'clock in the evening throughout the night and until the morning. There are no carpets in the rooms, so the knocking of heels, loud talking, coughing, blowing your nose, pushing and pulling of something did not allow you to fall asleep and rest until the morning. And in the morning the same thing started again at the same time. There is no noise from the street, only from the neighboring and upper rooms. I was sleepless for two nights. The hotel does not have an elevator and it was really difficult to climb to the third floor in wet clothes. We felt unsafe going down because the stairs were very steep and creaky. We are really disappointed

Nice and clean basic room. Recently renovated to an acceptable standard. Shower room very clean and a good shower. Only down side was no terrestrial TV channels but no biggie. Good price for the area.

Clean modern room. Transportation only 2 min away. Room walls were thin and you can hear everything. Doors slam shut. Didn’t sleep all night. No stairs or staff to help carry your luggage. It’s nice once you’re in your room but everything outside of it in the property was challenging because it’s an old building . Location is perfect

Not sure how they can claim it to be 3-star hotel. The room that we got was at the forth floor. Basically an attic converted to room. You cannot even full stand near bed or in shower. The mirror in bath was at the chest height. You have to stoop to view face. Fittings in bath were falling apart. Heating was not working. And did I say that you have to haul your luggage four floors as there is no elevators. No door handle on the front door. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Old and tired needs some TLC

So we were put in room 20 when we arrived which are the pictures provided and it was disgusting, the mattress was so old the springs were trying to escape from the sides, the shower head was covered in lime scale and the bathroom in general was showing age as was the room entirely as well as the state of the hotel. We complained and the staff were great and moved us to room 5 which had been refurbished. This was much nicer, newer and cleaner. However the shower was tiny for my 6.2ft frame, I've included a photo to show how small it is. I had to keep the doors open just so I could move my arms to clean myself. The main bonus was it was a 2 mins walk to earls court underground.

Staff friendly on check in and departure. Ideal location for us as only staying one night. The room was rough around the edges and looking tired. Unfortunately the bedding didn’t look like it had been changed from the previous occupier as there were hairs on the duvet so not a great impression.
