Do Not Recommend At All

This is my first negative review of a property. Stayed 4 nights and regretted booking this property run by Stayz. I am pretty easy going but this property got on my nerves every day. Requested towels and were promised them 3 times but they never showed up. 4 days and only 2 bath towels total for 2 people during the entire stay. The property is run down and the pictures do not reflect the actual unit at all. Very, very small and the bathroom even smaller. Could barely turn around or bend over to brush your teeth in the soup bowl-sized sink. The mattress curves like a boomerang and is as thin as camping foam. The unit is 3 floors above the ground level so if stairs are an issue, this is not the place for you. I have stayed in better hostels and paid half the price. I'm very disappointed that hotels.com even includes a property like this in their offerings. The only positive about this property is where it is located. Great neighbourhood with easy access to 3 tube stops and great pubs, stores and restaurants close by. Overall. I strongly suggest avoiding this property and the company that runs it.

I gave this property two stars because it was cheap and the location was convenient for us for a single night. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother to give one star, it's totally run down and neglected, needs some serious refurbishment and tlc to make it welcoming.

There were several things that were wrong with the property on arrival but with it being London, and having stayed there many times before, i had some idea of what it would be like. We selsected this hotel for its location and price, as well as the pictures looking good. We were originally moved into a different building due to maintenance but then moved back to the one we booked. When we arrived to the right place, we had one chair for two people and one glass. This was fine and even though they contacted us to discuss any issues these were things we could live with for a few days. There were no knives or cutting boards, there was also no oven trays, rendering the oven out of action. This was just a stop over between Bournemouth and Greece for 4 nights which quickly became awful. The bathroom sink was blocked, i managed to unblock it eventually. The tap barely runs. You can not use it to wash your hands or beish your teeth. The shower is either warm and slow or boiling hot and jet like. The kitchen sink aasmt much better. Clean sponges were not provided, the bedding also appeared to have a blood stain. But once again. These were things that we were just putting up with whilst we were there for a few nights. Our last morning was the final straw. We had sat down to have breakfast and there were TWO COCKROACHES!! I have never gelt so disgusting and sick. I contacted expedia right away

Location is OK since its near Bayswater and Queensway train stations and also near restaurants and groceries which are all located at Queensway Road. Property however is very old and cramped for 4 people. Comfort room very small and not well maintained. Very difficult to reach out to owner in case u need anything. We stayed for 5 days and no housekeeping or at least refill of supplies during entire stay. No lift so u need to carry bags as you climb stairs. Good for backpackers only not for family with luggages.

Inadequate communication of entry code. Promised 24 hr notification not forthcoming. Had to phone Expedia service and wait for entry code. Room very small loft bedroom meant my 6 ft had to double over to fit under ceiling.

The hospitality and communication for this property was amazing and so above average. Everyone we spoke to was very kind and made us feel welcome, and they are also quick to message back should you have any inquiries. Our room was small but was no surprise for us, and I hate to say it could have been more clean. It was by no means disgusting and was still a safe place to be, but there was obvious mess in some parts, namely, hairs left around the washroom sink by the last guest. It was also incredibly hot, we stayed for a weekend that ended up being 24 degrees Celsius and since the bed is in a loft it got no circulation from the fan below. I was also hesitant to open the windows as we were on the ground floor and the windows did not have bars on them. Aside from these small hiccups, I would consider staying here again. Check in and entry via the keypad was easy and smooth.
