Me and my partner stay in this hotel for 3 nights. We came to Visit London. Staff are friendly but hotel is dirty our room was on first floor, it was like walking through labyrinth to get to our room. Room was very small and needs a bit of paint on the wall. You could never get a good night of sleep, the road is very noisy and every morning someone beeping the horn, and when people use to go to their room all you could hear is the door slamming. Breakfast I can’t even call it a breakfast, nothing was refrigerated, serving tuna mayo, egg mayo, salad, toast or cereal for breakfast. The juice were sour. The location was ok but I’d rather spend more money and get a good night sleep and proper breakfast. Wouldn’t stay here again.
We stayed here for a total of 4 nights. Very cheap compared to rest of London. Very easy to get into the centre of London from Golders green station which is about a 5 minute walk. Room was clean and had fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was basic, toast and cereal but we didn't expect anything extravagant for the price we paid. The staff were fantastic especially Akos and Christian who were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. All in all it was a pleasant visit and was fantastic value for money close to central London. We'll definitely be back.
Good hotel, nice value , clean , comfortable, not much noise . Friendly staff at checking. I recommend for a short stay, good value. Public transport not too far, easy to find, easy to get by tube or cab, done both. A good location with loads shops, restaurants.
The hotel is ok, not great. An old building that needs some maintenance. Our room was clean and spacious 4x4 meters, with a 2x chairs, kettle, double bed. It was at the front of the hotel so you could hear the traffic. The bathroom was a bit naff, shower holder was broken, door was jamming so could not open/close properly and it didn't have a lock on. Breakfast in the morning was ok, dont expect anything fancy. Cereal, tea, toast/bagels, salad and tea, coffee and juice from a vending machine.
The room was clean and didn’t appear to have any signs of dirt, grime, or anything else that other reviewers have commented on (Although I can only speak for our room). The hotel is in a great, safe location, being just a 10-minute walk away from Golders Green Station, and is only a short tube ride away into the middle of London (i.e. Leicester Square). Probably wouldn’t stay here for more than a couple of nights but the hotel is great for sightseeing/attending events in London and if you’re not going to be in the room very much other than to sleep. They also let us store our luggage after checking-out as we wanted to travel around the city a bit more before we had to leave which was great (although they don’t give you a reference number for your luggage or anything so use at your own discretion). Only a few things seemed to be off i.e. Having no bin in the room/bathroom and having to push the door pretty hard to get into it due to what I assume to be new carpet blocking the door from opening properly, but these things have never bothered me much anyway so this didn’t matter, especially for the price we paid (One of the cheapest hotels we could find in London for our dates). There doesn’t seem to be a lift in the hotel so accessibility could be a problem for some. Breakfast was a bit strange, with the only choices being toast, bagels, tuna, egg salad, and cucumber and/or tomato, but again, this didn’t really bother my anyway as it was included in our rate and I was planning on eating in the city anyway. The staff member that checked us in was lovely but the staff member that checked us out seemed a bit off and moody, so this is a bit of a hit-or-miss. The biggest gripe I have is that the Wi-Fi isn’t free and is pretty expensive to pay for too (£9 for 24 hours per device), but other than those, small things, the hotel was perfectly adequate for our short stay.
The hotel is much better than what is mostly said around here. The staff is very polite and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I just wish breakfast had more variety, salads in the morning is just too weird for me.
We are 5 peoples family . The 1st family room proposed by the hotel was on ground floor, carpet was stinking and dirty. We refused it and asked to change it. The 2nd room was a messy old room with 4 beds. They bought us a old bed-spring, a dirty mattress and let us manage the 5th bed by ourselves. The carpet was also very dirty. The second night, we paid an additive cost to get 2 separate rooms on the 2nd floor. They were quite better.
I cancelled my room which they said was free of charge but then took my money, tried to contact manager over 10 times and they made excuses such as they was on holiday or not on shift. I emailed and left them my number and they never got back to me. Terrible service.
Can not complain about hotel as we only stay one night but the room was nice a comfortable and the price good for what we expected. It's more of a stop off hotel just to rest after a day sightseeing. Very close to underground and if I had to stay again I would
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean and the location was comfortable. I think for the price this is a good hotel. The underground's northern line is some minutes by walk from the hotel. The area around has a lot of shops and restaurants. I really appreciated all the help the reception gave me and my family. Waji especially, he was very friendly and helpful.
