I was excited to come here after the refurbishment & we decided to come for pre-drinks on my wife’s birthday, My wife pass’s each day on her way to work in central London & was also curious... We had no complaints the service in general, the new interior was excellently designed and you walk past the open kitchen into the restaurant, good as I have previously been in hospitality for 30yrs, I was curious to visit the restaurant... The only negative as a friend pointed out when I mentioned it to them recently and I have to agree, was the price of the virgin cocktail or non-alcoholic cocktail.... How can they charge the same price as my cocktail with alcohol.....? My Mojito was a sugar syrup as opposed to grinding the sugar with the limes and mint so not the original one/style so in my opinion not so tasty... This wouldn’t stop me coming back to the restaurant and for a drink in the future but we certainly wouldn’t be having non-alcoholic cocktails...

The Belmond Cadogan Hotel in London is now our favorite hotel in the world. Seldom have we experienced such an outstanding combination of location, room design, staff, and dining options. The hotel is in Chelsea within a ten minute taxi ride to the Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall, the Mayfair shopping district, Trafalgar Square and many fine restaurants. The location was perfect for our couples holiday. Have you ever stayed in a hotel room and thought "I wish the thermostat or shower were easier to adjust, I wish there were more drawers and a more spacious closet, more counter space in the bathroom, or more convenient lighting controls and charging stations? Whoever designed the rooms at this newly remodeled hotel knew exactly what travelers need. Every staff person was friendly and gracious. By the second day, they all knew our names. Jamie and Toro, the concierges, made every arrangement we requested and offered helpful and detailed guidance. The Adam Handling Restaurant far exceeded our expectations: variety, flavor and presentation of the food and attentiveness of the servers were great. To top it off, the hotel is filled with beautiful paintings by contemporary British artists. London is an expensive vacation destination. But we didn't mind paying for the excellence of accommodation that contributed so much to the pleasure of our experience. We look forward to returning again and again.

I’m writing this review whilst finishing my afternoon tea at the Belmond Cadogan. I’ve been to nearly all the five star hotels in London (Claridges being my regular hotel) and I can honestly say that this hotel ranks amongst the best! I didn’t feel rushed at any stage of my stay and the staff were wonderful. My dietary request was met, sandwiches fresh as were the scones and the ambiance excellent. I’ve been to this hotel many times in the past (before the renovations) and this is a vast improvement. Excellent!

This hotel has undergone a redo that took four years and it is stunning . Only open for five months now , it is a far cry from Oscar Wilde days . It is light and airy as well as elegant and urbane . Everything is fresh and exquisite and the staff is absolutely perfect. We ate in the bar the first night and it was nice . The breakfast is in a gorgeous room and one may order or simply get the fruit, croissants, etc. that is waiting . The concierge were extremely helpful at getting dinner reservations and hard to come by tickets for the theatre . The rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. The location is good for Harrods , Chelsea , The V and A and Sloane Street shopping . Hope to return .

The Belmond Cadogan Hotel is an absolute must if you want to have a luxurious experience in London. The rooms are out of this world with a perfect blend between modern and classical. They are very spacious and have one of the best bathrooms I have seen in Europe. Certainly above The Mandarin Oriental in London as well as the Jumeirah London. Service during breakfast was a little slow but if you are not in a rush, it is not that problematic.

This is the sweetest hotel, with lovely staff. We paid through Amex fine hotel and resorts and were upgraded to a jr. suite. The room was impeccable, with a large bathroom, great bed, view of the rooftops. We received fresh fruit and water everyday. With only 54 rooms the attention to detail is spot on. The location is perfect. Daniel, the concierge is great and sent us to our best meal of the stay (and we ate a lot of good food). The fitness center is small, but has everything one can need.

Newly renovated hotel is really beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The hotel is in a great location with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Service is nice and friendly. Our room was large but our bathroom was really small. It only had one sink and no storage. Also, there was only one tea cup in the room and I had to call and ask for another one. It's a small detail but something you would not expect in a hotel like this. Probably would not stay here again because of the bathroom situation. Also, there was a really loud banging in the room above us that went on for quite a while one morning.

I loved our room in this hotel. It had a good sized bathroom with a stand alone tub and separate shower and lots of room for 2 people. The room also had a walk in closet off the bedroom which was equipped with everything you might need - clothes brush, etc. The only negative was a light that seemed to flash in the night but my husband put a bandaide on it the 2nd night so we were ok. The hotel common areas are very nice and the breakfast is excellent in terms of quality of food and choice, if just a little bit chaotic with a lot of staff everywhere. We also liked the bar but it shut pretty early. The cream tea was exquisite but at BP55 a person you would have high expectations. I did not get to sit in the amazing chairs in the room where they serve tea as they were reserved so it you can, try to reserve those chairs in advance. I liked the bar in that room as well. The hotel is in such a great location for all the things like shopping and museums, etc. Can't beat the location.

Stayed here for 4 nights over a long weekend in July. Location On Sloane Street about 10 minute walk from Knightsbridge tube station (Piccadilly line) so easy access from Heathrow. 10 minute walk in other direction for access to Circle and District tube lines in Sloane Square. The area is very nice, full of high end stores and right near Harrods. 20-25 minute walk from Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Room One of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in (Junior Suite). Woodwork and marble in bathroom was spectacular. Even the lighting was well done. Everything you need including safe, umbrella, hair dryer. Luxury amenities including big fluffy towels. WiFi worked with no problems. Big flat screen TV in HD. Staff Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Concierge was very helpful in recommending restaurants and sites to see. Hotel Atmosphere was very nice and quiet to come back to after fighting the crush of people at popular tourist sites and on the tube. Access to the garden across the street was a bonus. Lobby small but nice, restaurant was expensive. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Expensive but worth it.

Stayed for a week during Wimbledon. Great location on Sloan Street for access to Harvey Nicks, Harrods, Subways and Shopping. Rooms were decent size - upgraded to Jr. Suite - maybe 450 sq ft. with large bathroom, separate shower and tub with 2 sinks. Plenty of sunlight overlooking Sloan Street. Excellent afternoon Tea, solid breakfast and late night drinks (Tea Room, Bar, Restaurants areas). Superior service in all aspects.
