Very comfortable location, 1 minute from Metro station - easy access to everywhere in Lisbon. Also, the Hop-on-Hop-Off buses start near the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the hotel very quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was remarkably good. Averybody was very kind and willing to help, and very efficient and assisting. Very recommended.
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel from August 1st to August 3rd and we we satisfied with the accommodation and very happy with the location. We arrived a bit early so our luggage was held for us while we went on a tour. Check in was seamless and when we returned from our tour our luggage was brought to our room and we had a run down of all the amenities. As a Canadian we're used to bigger hotel rooms but in spite of being a bit on the small side, we were both very comfortable. We had two single beds which were side by side which was fine for a mother and daughter and we both slept well so no complaints there. The bathroom was spotless but again, small with a large pedestal sink so, without a counter it was a bit annoying. We had a shower/tub combination but the tub was a little snug and anyone with mobility problems would have difficulty with either the bath or a shower. It came equipped with a hair dryer but I had to think that those with arthritis in their hands would have difficulty there as well as the handle had to be squeezed in order for it to work. Looking at the hotel's website I see they have larger bathrooms with counters as well as walk in showers so I'm assuming that when I booked there weren't any rooms left that would have suited us better. None of the pictures that I saw showed a pedestal sink either. We were only there for two nights so it was fine. We did go to the dinner buffet and it was good although I felt it was a bit pricey for what we got. The service was very good though. The Wifi was reliable and we were given the option of renting a mobile wifi which came in handy when navigating streets we were unfamiliar with. Once returned, the cost of the rental was reimbursed so all in all, a good deal. All in all, a very nice hotel though, in a great location, at a good price.
Good hotel, mainly at 8th floor where you have a quite large and private balcony facing Marques de Pombal Square. Hotel is just located in front of a Metro Station and also at 3 minutes walking distance to the starting station for the tourism buses.Excellent breakfast. The only negative point is, even smoking is forbidden, you can smell smoke at corridors and rooms.
We stayed at the HF Fenix for two nights, we chose it for location as its right on the metro line and having been to Lisbon a couple of times before we knew where we wanted to be. We booked a top floor room with a balcony overlooking the Marques de Pombal so at night we could see over the city. There is a garden with seating where you could sit out late afternoon which was nice and the breakfast was excellent. The guy who works down there I think is called Nelson is super friendly and is an asset to the hotel. Our room itself with not particularly big but the balcony itself was quite large. A separate shower would have been nice but it was fine. So if you want to be just outside the tourist melay with easy travel options to all areas this is a great hotel to stay in. The tourist tour buses are also just across the road.
A great choice of hotel fiully meritting its four star raqting. Some of the best staff ; very nice and extrememly helpful. Great location to walk into the city centre (20 - 30 mins). Share the facilities of it sister hotels adjacent.
I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. It has a great location, just across the street from the Metro station, cabs right outside the hotel, sightseeing bus also across the street. Great view from our 6th floor room, amazing breakfast, spacious room, great staff. Perfect stay!
We stayed here for five nights. The hotel is at top of the main street of all the higher class shops. It sits on a very busy roundabout but is very easy to get to via the Metro. Taxis are also very cheap here and the hop on hop bus is situated here too. Lisbon has lots of traffic and we found the metro very reliable and I think the last one was about one in the morning. We also caught the metro too and from the airport with only one charge of €20 for two all week and that included to Sintra and back, of which we got the wrong train back ended up near the airport again lol. First impressions of the hotel was how tall it was and how welcoming a young man was at reception. We were given a map and a few point of interest were explained and then pointed the right way to our room. The hotel itself is very well cleaned and has various lifts to the many floors. Our room was spacious and welcoming after a busy day. The bed was very comfy, lots of draws and a large wardrobe for our wares. Wifi and air con spot on and a safe for our iPads etc. The TV had many channels with a info sheet of whats on which was handy. We flew in from Madrid so spent a little more time in our rooms to relax more than we normally would. There was a fridge with hotel drinks etc. Right, right and up the road from the hotel about 10 minutes is a small store for water fresh bread etc. The best thing regards to here I would say has to be the breakfast as the fruit was lovely and fresh. A Portuguese style breakfast with the sprinkle of ever nation. There was a lot for breakfast but the staff made sure everything was spot on topped up and tables cleaned in a flash. Top marks to the staff here. I wanted to to give this hotel full stars but having to ask for my shower mended for two days and my room clean for two days really let the hotel down. When I approached reception and asked why. I was greeted by a tut and the guy then using the phone in front of me in Portuguese then smartly saying they have till five to clean it. I explained it 16.35 and the previous day it was not cleaned at all and he shrugged his shoulders. Rude boy you let your team down as the rest of the reception staff were more than welcoming at all times. Overall I would return should I return to Lisbon to this hotel as besides just one rude person I loved the hotel and where it was.
I stayed there to visit Lisbon. The position is really good but the hotel has very old style. Bathroom is really old and my room was very small. Breakfast was very good but the price is too hign for the services offered.
We stayed at the Hotel Fenix Music for 3 nights in July and would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were immaculate, the beds some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in and the rainfall shower incredibly luxurious. It also had some really wonderful touches like bluetooth speakers in the room which, coupled with free wifi, meant we could listen to spotify playlists in glorious surround sound! The breakfast was also superb with a wide range of cooked staples (eggs, bacon, sausage) and cold sweet and savouries (ham, cheese, cakes, pastels de nata) along with fizz! The staff were friendly and helpful- well most, the young guy on reception was a bit miserable but all the female staff were great- and couldn't do enough to help. The only thing I would say is that the pool is very small and the area around it pretty small too, so if you want to lounge by the pool get up early! It's also a bit too far away from the centre of things. This is not the fault of the hotel of course, but I think if I were going back to Lisbon, I would stay somewhere a bit nearer the city centre. Saying that, the taxis are incredibly cheap so getting around was fine. We did have a few problems the 3 nights we were there as unfortunately there was an incredibly loud, nosy and irritating stag party who spent the small hours of the morning banging on each others doors, shouting and having incredibly loud conversations at 4.00am. We did complain about this and the staff were sympathetic but couldn't really do anything about it. We definitely didn't let it spoil our trip!
Spacious, clean and modern rooms in the main centre of Lisbon. Visited Lisbon for the NOS Alive Festival and can totally recommend it for people visiting for the same purpose. Only 10mins away from Festival by Uber/Taxi. The aerobus from the airport is the cheapest and quickest option to get to it, will stop you exactly opposite the hotel. Reachable by every bus route and recognized as one of the pick up points by most company tours in Lisbon. Walking distance from most landmarks. Very hard to miss the building when visiting Marques de Pombal. All the staff are very welcoming, especially the breakfast team. Would totally visit again!
