I can’t fault this hotel. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the time we checked out. Impeccable service, fantastic breakfast selection, gorgeous interior and the staff are wonderful. Should I ever return to Lisbon, I will be staying here again for certain.

I spent 6 days at Hotel Di Baixa in June and I loved my time there! It was my first time in Lisbon so I was looking for a special place to stay and I found it. This is a very modern hotel in a charming old building. The location is central, half way between Praça do Comércio and Rossio Square. I had a double room with a balcony overlooking the colourful Rua Di Prata, but when the doors were closed I wasn’t bothered by noise. The furniture is modern and stylish and the bed was extremely comfortable with good linen. There is a coffee machine in the room, complimentary water and a mini fridge with complimentary soft drinks. My bathroom was huge and very modern with great products. The staff were friendly & efficient. Breakfast was served in the restaurant with many different choices and good coffee . A nice touch was a plate of the delicious Pastéis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) in the reception, which were very difficult to pass by without indulging! I would recommend anyone looking for a great stylish hotel with an understated touch of cool, to stay here.

This has been the best experience on a hotel i've ever had on Portugal. This place is right até the city center, close to all the main attractions. It has the most amazing restaurant. And by dar the kindest staff i have ever met. Thank you for this most wonderful experience.

We felt this hotel was an excellent choice for both location and service. We had a perfect experience there in the Family Suite, which was well priced and full of great surprises. This hotel pays attention to the details. Despite being right in the heart of the action, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely return and recommend.

The beautiful color that adorned the hotel is spectacular. I enjoyed taking a family stroll in the area. Beautiful architecture. Will perhaps stay in the hotel on my next trip as located in the busy Baixa-Chiado area and other trendy spots.

Wonderful stay at Hotel da Baixa 5 star service and attention to detail second to none. Spotless, with free mini bar and great quality toiletries. Breakfast was excellent ,we had a delicious meal in the restaurant and drinks from the bar were very reasonably and lovely. We were upgraded to rooms with a balcony and the housekeeping staff left them spotless each day - a particular thank you to the lovely lady who looked after room 403 and left beautiful towel sculptures on our bed , she was so friendly and polite every morning as were all the staff. We have nothing but good things to stay about this hotel so to the staff who made us feel special- thank you

room was nice decorated for an hotel. The staff was excellent ! But The breakfast is not very good , the food was not very good quality and not a big choice comparate other 4 stars hotel, hotel is in a god location

Our recent trip to Portugal was based in the historic center of the city for 4 days at the Hotel da Baixa. After visiting Seville for 3 days we returned to this Hotel for our final days before returning to NYC, so that should give you a hint that we loved that hotel. It is small, about 60 rooms, but each is unique and done to a "T". The halls are silent and well designed with pleasing color schemes. The room staff are courteous and attentive, while the concierge and front desk staff are intelligent, focused on finding out what pleases you and then delivering just that experience. The hotel offers a full (and filling) breakfast with a very wide variety of foods and beverages. The price per night was quite reasonable and there are snacks and coffee and/or bottled water or fruit with cold tap water available throughout the day. Their suggestions about where to eat were on target and we enjoyed walking or taxiing to out of the way places in the Alfama district among others. We are an older couple who look forward to walking when we travel, and this city has become one of our favorites, based in large part on the guidance we received from the front desk and passing staff who offered suggestions that were "spot on". Its wonderful when after a few days you feel at home and at ease with the staff of a hotel, from the director down to the chambermaids. Truly a 5 star experience!

My family and I have been traveling across Europe and have stayed in 11 hotels over a 5 week period. We stayed mostly in Marriott Autograph and resort locations. This hotel was our favorite out of all of them. The decor is modern but classic. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is great. Would highly suggest visiting the market less than a half a block away, grabbing something to eat and drink and take a tour on a Tuk Tuk. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Lisbon.

After doing lots of research on where to stay in Lisbon we picked this hotel and were so glad we did. It’s a real gem of a place. Fantastic location all major sites within walking distance. The room was gorgeous, really modern, spotless clean with a fabulous shower. Even though the location was so central the room was quiet with blackout curtains and blinds and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were outstanding and helpful. We have travelled extensively for over 20 years around the world and we were very impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend it.
