Icicle Village is a nice property that is walkable to town. When we tried to check in at 2pm which was 2 hours early they gave us free mini golf for 4 since our room wasn't ready. Also close to the Alpine Wilderness hikes which we love!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Has everything you could ask for on a Family vacation.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

We loved the beauty, charm and cleanliness of the Icicle Resort!

Even with Phase 3 in pandemic, breakfast and restaurant were excellent. A few blocks from downtown allowed quietness to the area. Recommend.

The property is really cute - and laid out very well. I was delighted with the outdoor heated pool...it was nice and clean, and very warm despite the March weather. I was disappointed that the hot tubs were closed (I was told on the phone that they were open), and also the fitness center and miniature golf. Even during covid, definitely no reason for that. The room was very simple and clean. Would come back for sure, but not paying close to $400 a night ever.

The resort was fairly nice, with a decent staff and very nice people in addition. The bed sheets and covers were very clean feeling. The amenities were alright with a heated pool, needed for that area, but nice. Most of the other items were either closed or occupied so I was unable to check them out. The issues I had were that the place is priced for a much nicer experience. I have been to similar places for much less a day. The "view" was a view with the pool as well so it was fairly loud each night. The bed itself was terrible! I have back issues and could not stand that bed, the entire room itself was small and just a makeshift slightly remodeled motel 6 version. The cable TV was a joke, and the TV itself was not great at all. The breakfast was not great and not because of Covid but because of their choice in items and brands. When you hang a do not disturb NO staff should ever knock unless an emergency is happening! Especially cleaning staff. Lights were non-functional, outlets very loose, the network access was simply a joke! The admin of their site needs to update his abilities, first they actively attempt to block VPN connections, which if you are like me, just swap to port 443 and proxy out. However, if like me you are an ADMIN and need to remote into work devices, and that happens its upsetting to say the least. WIRED Internet ports needed! Also someone that knows wireless signal needs to adjust their wifi! Two combating signals is annoying.

Overall this hotel was good. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfy. The biggest con for us was the enforcement of masks. Throughout my stay the 3rd floor common area was packed with unrelated parties all not wearing masks. I complained and nothing was done. This area is near the main elevator and did not feel safe at all. We wore out masks and took the stairs and elevator in the back. I saw people in the lobby and hallways also not wearing masks. The rules clearly state you should be wearing masks in these common areas. In my opinion the common areas should not be available for use at all since people were taking their food to this area and eating here because indoor dining is prohibited. This is still considered indoor dining in my opinion. You can see this area from the front desk so it’s clear they were just letting this happen. This is completely irresponsible during a global pandemic!

The staff was very pleasant, informative and helpful. I had to change rooms due to needing a tub. They got right on it and were so sweet. They offered tons of ideas and places to eat. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful! Lovely stay, super clean! I loved they still had DVDs at the desk and mini golf open. The restaurant was great- LOVED the fondue appetizer at the restaurant! The door had a cleaning sticker that breaks when you open the door. Only “negative”? The desk didn’t mention you pay there for mini golf instead of at the activities area.

Very Nice Room and not to pricey. Clean room and comfortable bed. I like pillows and they had many pillows! I have stayed here in the past and would stay here again. It is a short walk to the main street with many shopping and dining options. I recommend the Icicle Village Resort.

Great family- friendly hotel, nice location right off the highway, large rooms, clean, comfortable even with covid, we felt at ease and safe, nice property with many outdoor activities, situated close to the local town, walking distance to restaurants, shops, parks and outdoor recreational activities, highly recommend, will come again.

Thank you for the kind words! We were excited to reopen the golf for the season on March 13th, and we're hoping to be able to reopen the fitness room soon, too. Auf wiedersehen!

I'm sorry to hear you felt disappointed by your stay. I hope you give us another chance some day. We'll pass along your feedback regarding VPN access to our IT team. I do know we've had others who were able to VPN into their work networks, but perhaps some of our settings could be tweaked to better suit your specific workflow needs. Auf wiedersehen!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! We here at the Icicle Village Resort certainly do take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, and do our humanly best to enforce the mask mandates as is required by law. Your feedback will be taken into serious consideration.
