Extended Stay America - Kansas City - Airport - Plaza Circle

Great location with convenient and prompt shuttle service to the airport. Small yet clean lobby with friendly staff. Room was clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Decent selection of TV channels and free WiFi. WiFi is a tad slow, but you do have the option to upgrade to a faster Internet connection. Only complaint would be the towels. They were literally tattered and torn and pretty rough on the skin.

The Ac in the doom didn't work and several staff members told me to just find someplace else to stay since I complained.

Excellent in all aspects but one. The bed was a little stiff. I personally like a very mushy mattress.

Everything was great with the exception of the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle is shared between 2 hotels and the night I checked in they wrote me down for a shuttle at a specific time. I went to the front desk 10 minutes early and the shuttle was not there. The gentleman behind the desk was unable to reach him. I told the gentleman that I didn't mind waiting a few minutes. After 10 minutes the gentleman took me to the airport in his private vehicle because he was still unable to locate the shuttle. If I hadn't made a shuttle reservation I wouldn't have any complaints about the stay, but I was told during check-in that the shuttle could take me at my preferred time and it didn't have to be one of the specified time slots. I will stay here again, but I will shuttle to the airport during a scheduled shuttle time.

Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Everything about this place is awful except the location. Never ever stay here.

Good location but room itself was not that clean. Microwave had lots of stains on its door, water pressure in bathroom sink was no good, dirty faucets, and bathroom tub smelled bad. I was there only 2 nights so I ignored most things, but for a longer stay, I'd probably ask for another room or get a different hotel. The location is good, only 6-7 min drive to the KCI airport.

The room was OK. We had a kitchenette which was good, but we never bought food to cook in the hotel room. The staff was friendly. The bed was REALLY hard and I only got 3 pillows for the 2 of us. I had to beg for another pillow and that was an act of god to get. Also we had to take our dirty towels downstairs to exchange. Its in a great location and was glad they were able to keep me another night since my flight was cancelled. It was an OK experience and for the money spent that is exactly what you will get.

Things seem to have improved since last year. The staff were friendly and helpful, the small mechanical issue in my room was fixed promptly. The room was vey nice. Counters and shelves could have been cleaner and a check to be sure previous resident really cleaned the dishes. Bring coffee pods and your own cooking utensils. I will stay again next time I'm in town..

Not so modern but clean and well priced! Common areas were pretty up to date though.

Great Hotel. Handled all my needs during my stay. Especially, cleanliness and peace of mind.

Great Stay, peace of mind and clean. Also affordable

Hotel was not very clean. Staff was not very friendly. Only a girl named Casey ever spoke a word to us that was kind. You could not reach a staff member after 11:00pm. They closed the front desk windows. Could not even reach them by phone. Called down about 5pm for towells and was told I had to bring the used ones down to front desk to get new ones.. I also had to walk down (was on third floor) to get toilet paper. I think it should have been a curtosy for them to bring them to me. When I booked the room I was told there was a pool and there was not. I would not recommend this hotel.

Everything was pretty average but not a bad deal. Had a new guy checking me in so took a little longer but they were nice. Our shower was leaky, but overall the room wasn't bad.

I landed at 11;30 at night and took off at 7:30 the next morning. It was close to the airport, clean and the bed wasn't bad either. I already had a reservation so when I got there, the clerk checked me in fast and I was in my room in less than 5 minutes. I was needing a place for a short layover, I shopped only on price and I was completely satisfied with my room.

Had a very pleasent stay at your hotel. Was close to airport.Staff were very friendly and accomodating. No complaints.thank you

I stayed here because of it's close proximity to the Airport because I had a very early flight out of town. It served it's purpose in that regard, but was quite dingy. The non-smoking room had an obvious cigarette burn on the bed spread, the water pressure in the sink and shower were very weak and there was no shampoo in the bathroom. You can also hear the people in the rooms next to and above you. My goal was to sleep for six hours of my seven hours there. I was able to sleep for about two. Also, when I went to check out, which was admittedly very early in the morning, there was nobody at the front desk and there were curtains in front of it. I just had to slide the key underneath and hope for the best.

I neded some place to stay for a 6 hr layover that was inexpensive and nice. I didn't want to spend alot of money for a short time. It was decent and comfortable.

It was a great setting for business I will definitely use this hotel if I get the job I was there interviewing for. I was expecting a continental breakfast but then remember where I was staying and that is given at the oterh chains in the area. All and all it was a good trip and I hope I get the job.

Room was clean and just fine. Small things made the experience unsatisfactory. No shampoo or other toiletries. Though they have wifi, the website did not disclose that it costs extra. No continental breakfast. The shuttle has very limited hours. On one hand, one could ask "what do you expect for under $50?"... BUT the Microtel across the street offered all those things for the same price. I simply wanted to try Extended Stay later in the week (also because Microtel had a weird smoky-mirror at the head of the bed that I could envision having creeps looking through it... and the room was not as new or quite as clean as Extended stay). Next time, I will either spend a bit more for a different hotel, or of the two, will go back to Microtel.

Booked me in a smoking room even though I requested non smoking; beds not very comfortable, pillows & bedding looked very old
