excellent breakfast
Pool was nice, breakfast was good, staff was great. The doors that lead to stairs shut loud, so kept getting woke up. And while showering the water turned ice cold multiple times. Cant complain too much they were the only hotel with an available room in a 50 mile radius.

We arrived at the hotel at nearly 10pm, and the host, Ethan, was so kind and accommodating. Although the parking lot indicated the hotel was pretty booked, I asked if we could possibly get a quiet room on the top floor. Without any hesitation, Ethan said he would need to change our room, but within a minute or two, he found one. I didn’t know where it was exactly, but when we got to it, it turned out to be on the top floor at the very end of the hall. It could not have been any better, and we were thrilled! It was clean and even smelled good. It had a fridge, microwave, and USB ports between both beds—all the amenities I need! Best of all, it was nice and quiet. I am always pleasantly surprised every time I come here.

The property is amazingly built… beautiful! But it was a little bit of a downer to drive 2 hours and have the hot tub & sauna be broke down… then they changed their breakfast time on people and the one man was kind of rude about it. The outlet bars behind the bed in 173 was very dirty and sticky!
I stayed at this location five years ago and it was even great then. On this visit, even during Covid, everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment we checked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was amazing. We stayed on the top floor, where not only was our room so spacious and clean, but the entire floor was so peaceful and quiet. There was even the nice surprise of a modern USB charging station built into the clock inn the nightstand. And then there was the breakfast. Hands down, it was the friendliest and most accommodating service I have ever received. Although it includes your typical breakfast buffet and self serve items, they also make the best omelettes hot, to order and deliver them to your table. Overall, the Kalispell, MT Red Lion Hotel is just amazing!
Lobby was beautiful
This hotel is dirty and gross and really needs an update. The breakfast isn’t good. The biggest issue is that our room had BED BUGS!!!! We took the actually bed bug we found and then the guy at the desk tried to “make it better” by offering our family some sodas. What?? I was at least expecting some kind of reimbursement for our stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

We liked almost everything, one thing that could change was the continental breakfast, it could have been much better. The beds are nice.
Perfect stay! Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and most important our pups were able to come with us on this trip!
