I do not recommend this hotel. Stay somewhere else and pay a little more for the comfort of having a good experience. We had a block of rooms booked. Several issues, from bed bugs, room doors that didn't lock, mildew growing in window panes, torn curtains, dirty hand prints on the walls, to dirty bed sheets. The only thing that I can say is I had a roof over my head. Even if you complained, the only man I ever saw working didn't seem to understand that you were complaining.
WE TOOK OUR CHILDREN HERE YESTERDAY 10/18/2017 WAS GIVEN ROOM 104 MY HUSBAND WAS napping, when he jumped out of his sleep Saying something bit him )Saying something bit him. so I searched the bed and LORD...A outrageous amount of bed bugs at the head of the bed under head board! and the top of the box spring caught the one that bit him, it was HUGE! I folded it up in pillow and walked to the desk where I demanded our money back! The rude man swore up and down they don't have bugs even when I took evidence to him! I was LIVID! I AM STILL LIVID! DON'T RENT there are lots of drugs at this facility WATCHED A DRUG DEAL GO down right in front OF ME and my family !!! I AM CALLING EPA AND HEALTH DEPARTMENT! ALSO CALLING OUR FAMILY LAWYER AND TAKING ACTION! BED SKIRTS ARE FILTHY FILLED WITH DEBRIS AND BED BUG eggs AND bugs! Camera sucks on my phone but here is there pillow black spot is bug!
We stayed here for a soccer tournament. Shame on the travel company associated with the tourney for booking rooms in such a worn-out, grubby hotel! This hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. It is worn and ratty looking pretty much everywhere. Our room was moderately clean, though the towels were very worn and 3 of the 4 were stained (gross!). The bedding was decent and appeared clean. Toilet barely flushed, and the sink was dripping underneath creating a puddle on the floor. The room was adequately clean but certainly not spic-n-span. The pool looked pretty gross, my 11 year old daughter refused to so much as dip a toe in it though her friends were swimming. Throughout the hotel, the carpet was worn, floor trim peeling up, etc. Just generally not kept up. Breakfast was mediocre, featuring weak coffee, powdered eggs and a small selection of breads and cereals. While I've stayed in worse, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I certainly won't be returning.
The place was very dirty. The pool water was very cloudy, with dirt and mud around the pool. Our shower was broke in our room. When I said something to Harry, the front desk assistant, he said it was our problem and nothing he could do. I emailed the manager and still after 3 weeks have not received any real from him. I would not waste any money on this place. Customer service and hotel was horrible!!!!
Nowhere in any listings for Quality Inn, even on their website, did they indicate that it was located on SOUTH Sprinkle Road. So, getting off the highway, we chose going north by mistake and were heading out of town when we decided to call the hotel to ask where it was. The man at the desk was very helpful with directions. Once finding the hotel, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the facility. Nothing about the hotel was uniquely remarkable but since we always stay at Choice hotels, we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed (as we had been with the Comfort Inn in Belleville, MI).
Friendly staff but very dirty! No fridge in my room and the cabinet that had a fridge in it was gross. Furniture was very worn and the carpet was dirty. Room had a musty smell. I will not be returning as Kalamazoo has other hotels that are much better.
I booked 2 rooms, we were looking for a place near the train station and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I don't remember a pool, but I wasn't looking for one, we needed to be up early for breakfast and get to the train station. Breakfast was typical Comfort Inn food, however, I notified the front desk they were out of regular coffee, it was 20 minutes later before it was ready.
While not new, this property is lovely and very well maintained. Our room was immaculate. The furniture was all in very good condition and the floor was well cleaned. They also have a lovely indoor pool area. While we didn't use it, we did take a look. The bedding was very comfortable and the linens were a good quality. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Quality Inn and will certainly stay here again when in the area.
We were in search of a spot to stay and most hotels in the area were booked due to the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI. We got a decent rate. I would have to agree with other reviewers, though - the place definitely needs upgrading. The room was dark, even with all the lights on. Linens could've been newer; pillows were not at all comfortable. Breakfast was passable. Thankfully, we didn't have to pay a lot.
It's a moderate hotel in everything. It was clean and quiet and comfortable. The pillows are small. Breakfast area was clean, food was plentiful, limited choices but enough. Desk Clerk was pleasant but I wish he could have spoken English clearly. .
