The picture is online make the hotel look great, it's not that great. Forgot to finish painting the ceiling and walls in our room. There was mildew stains on the bottom of the shower curtain, very low water pressure. One plus, the bed was very comfortable .

The staff were very good and helpful. More deep cleaning and water stain removal are in order. Caulking around the tub and grout need to be bleached.

Worst hotel we have ever visited

There were bugs on the bathroom floor. When we checked in, there were only a few sheets of toilet paper on the roll. We had to call down for more. The shampoo dispenser was empty and we had to call down for more when we checked in. The beds were very Soft and mushy. Most probably quite old. My wife woke up one morning with a few bites on her arm. We think these may have been bedbugs. The wall plugs in the room were in such bad condition that we had trouble keeping our cell phones charged because the receptacles wouldn't hold Properly. The first morning that we were there for breakfast, the waffle machine was out of batter so we couldn't have waffles. I asked the person at the front desk what was happening and he said that we would have some the next morning. The next morning, the entire waffle, machine and table that it was on was gone. The scrambled eggs that they served. We're dried out and hard. After the second night, we packed our bags and moved to the sleep in and suites. It was a much nicer place! We originally went to this place because it was close to the wings event center. Everything is pretty close in Kalamazoo and there is no reason why anyone should ever stay at this hotel.

First Impressions were overcome.

As I was checking in, I asked to be placed close to the elevator. He said I asked for accessible which is room 200, which is way down the hall. It was difficult walk Strike one but the only strike. The breakfast was as advertised fresh hot and healthy. The room was moderately clean. We could get in and out of the hotel easily. The most pleasant surprise was the cable tv we got both the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. We had a pleasant evening.

Not very clean

The bathroom was filthy. I had to ask for toilet paper. We found cockroaches in the bathroom. I would not stay there again. There was hair and dirt on the floor in the bathroom. Mascara or something black on the pillows. Beds were made though. Very disappointed since it is a choice hotel

No smoke detector in the room but wires were exposed, multiple stains on the floor between the beds. Windows looking outside of room was covered in bird poop. Breakfast was horrible as well
