Quiet and clean

clean and quiet place

no first floor rooms were available due to the construction. we had my disabled mother with me, and since there is no elevator, we had to get her up and down the stairs. because of all the constrution, it was very messy throughout the building.

Hotel a bit run down, in need of remodel/facelift. insects in bathroom and around floorboards and a few in bed. Thankfully not bed bugs. There was a slight sickly sweet smell/odor in the room. Doubt if it was Covid-related. Smelled a bit like insect repellent :( Walls are very thin. Next door people taking past 1am :( Knowing what I know now, I would have found a better place. Was after midnite and was too tired to look elsewhere.

We arrived around 2am. I had called ahead to let the hotel know we were getting in late. The man at the front desk was extremely personable, capable and welcoming. The room was very nice with good beds, a decent sized refrigerator and a second sink.

Location for me on this trip was excellent. Nearby restaurants were very good.

The whole room smells like mold. The bathroom tub has paint chip all over. Very dissapointed with my stay.

The room was non-smoking, but it smelled like stale smoke. My daughter even found a pack of cigarettes under the dresser! Flying bugs in the room, we killed about 4. We were in @ 10p & checked out at 6a—that was the upside.

No frills. Decent price. It's somewhere to sleep that is a step up from and a little more comfortable than the back seat of my car.

It was very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable.

Was good, has no problems what so ever, far enough off the road to be quiet

It was clean and the employees were very professional.

There was no one available at the front desk. Had to go to the Ramada next door for service. They treat the Home lodge guests like second-class citizens. Room was not clean, had dead bugs, plugged shower, broken iron, broken telephone! And worst breakfast I've encountered. It was unbelievable.

This was the cheapest room available in the area for the Kentucky Derby. The tv's were older than I was though and I'm 35.

It met our expectations - a clean room for the night. Staff is friendly.

It was a great value for the money, it could have been a little cleaner in spots, but it wasn't filthy at all. The location was great and the staff were friendly. No issues at all! Will stay again for sure!
