I liked the location and that it was off by itself and not right next to other businesses.

Staff was friendly and helpful. No problems or hassles. Only bad thing was because of the virus, there was no pool or hot tub use allowed. Other than that my stay was PERFECT

The room was beautiful to look at upon entering. But we soon discovered that it wasn't very functional during our first night stay. There was a shelf about chest height in the closet making it impossible to hang a coat. The coat was either bunched up on the shelf if you hung it on the top bar, or it dusted the floor if you hung it on the bottom bar. And the bathroom door doubled as the closet door. It was a sliding barn door style that covered either the closet or the bathroom. If somebody was "working" in the closet and another person was exiting the bathroom, the door could hit the person in the closet if a warning wasn't called out. My sister almost had her fingers clipped in a scenario such as this. This same door didn't lock while someone was in the bathroom. Nor did it completely cover the bathroom door opening. We also had trouble with the bathroom sink plug. It was one that you pushed down to close the drain, and pushed again to release it. It got stuck in the plugged position and we were bailing the sink with a cup into the bathtub just to get through our morning routine without calling maintenance.

Convenient location, friendly staff, we would stay there again

The Location of this Hampton Inn & Suites is NOT Great! I felt like I was on a Distant Planet and "Earth" (i.e., the actual city Michigan City) was barely reachable!!

I paid extra for a no smoking room only to find out upon arrival that all the rooms are nonsmokeing. When asked if I could possibly receive a refund, they said no cost amounts were on their system. Why were nonsmokeing rooms even advertised if smoking rooms are not even available!?!?

Fire alarm went off both nights during our stay and once at breakfast. Terrified my three year old grandson. Do not think I will stay there again. Had to go home to get a good nights sleep.

Good location but a noisy room. Net to electrical room. Many bumping sounds throughout the night. Very distracting

The double bed room was very spacious, enough room for 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant.

Deaf rooms. Wish knew before made reservations I would

Overall - great and will definitely stay there again! Staff was wonderful and very pleasant. One negative and it is a big one. The curtains in the room do not shut completely. The sheers do but not the curtains. Our room was right over the main entrance and the light shown in all night long. I did not get much sleep.

Room next door must of been moving furniture or something. Loud noises on wall side at least twice near headboard of our beds.

My one day stay was great. Loved the spacious rooms and it slept 5 of us comfortably.
