It is amazing what they can do with PhotoShop. From their Website, this place looks very nice! We were on a 30 day motorcycle trip through BC & AB. This was the most expensive night and the worse accommodations during the entire 30 days. Their rooms needed to be updated about 10 years ago. I doubt you can find a level spot in their dirt/gravel parking lot. You have to carry your luggage up stairs. If you need anything from the office...put on your hiking boots. The ravens won't let anything black alone. They were constantly on our motorcycle covers just pecking away. One of them got a hole in it. They were even on a Jeep's black hardtop cover, just pecking away. An SUV's black antenna. The internet connection was terrible. The TV had a very limited selection. There was no breakfast included. I could go on and on. We just expected a lot better accommodations for $300+.
Very pleased with our stay there! It was quiet, and the room was nice and clean! Also I loved the fact that the lake was so close to the bungalows and you could rent kayaks to go on the lake! Will stay there again!
We loved this place. The views of the lake were fantastic. There is a nice cook-out/sitting area we took advantage of daily. We even got to see an elk frolicking in the water! The rooms were clean. Would have loved a kitchenette.
We stayed in the Whistler Room for 3 nights, everything went well, no complaint. Even it's the most expensive hotel during our trip in Rocky mountains, it's still worthy. The room is clean, with everything we need. The kitchen is nice to have, we cooked dinners and breakfasts well. The view is great too, especially in early morning, so quiet and lovely. The kids had a great time playing kayaking in the lake, they all loved it very much. We will come back if visiting Jasper again!
Really nicely modernised, unbelieveable views. Loved it. Staff are super friendly. Everywhere was very clean. The bedroom bed was comfy but my 14 year od struggled with the comfort of the sofa bed. We had no upstairs noise as we asked for a room at the top and glad we did as we had slightly disrespectful neighbours. Parking no problem, wifi almost unusable but what can you expect? We got takeaway for the evening as we didn't want to leave the room. Would stay again. Bought things to cook for breakfast and also cooked an evening meal - we had everything we needed. A very ingenious design. Much prefer Jasper to Banff.
Spent three nights here in the chalets. Very nice, bed comfortable and clean. Facilities ok. Didn’t use the restaurant as we went into the town to eat. A bit away from the town so if you want to walk to facilities was a little out of the way. Had a walk early two mornings and the views of mountains spectacular when cloud lifted.
We stayed at Pyramid Lake Resort for only one night and wished it could have been for more - unfortunately it didn't fit in in our itinerary. We stayed in a 2 bed room and we had amazing sheets and a very comfy bed that were welcomed after a long day of exploring. The rooms are very clean and well kept with a cute little porch area to look out over the lake and Pyramid Mountain. Canoe rental prices were reasonable for the area but unfortunately we did not partake. The room was also well sound-proofed as we didn't hear a peep from our neighbours with a young family beside us or the bachelor party above us. Although it was out of town it is only a 10 min drive to the townsite. I would recommend staying here for those who want to be out of town a bit and have a high chance of seeing wildlife! We saw an elk on our way back from dinner!
Pyramid Lake Resort is a beautiful spot to stay. Our one bedroom suite was comfortable and roomy. The lake is beautiful. While we didn't have time to enjoy the water activities everything looked clean and there were many options. The location is perfect and very near town. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful about activities in the area.
Though the room was nice, with a possible nice view (Depending on your room), I would not recommend you to others. For one, Peak season had just started, and your Hot Tub was not working. The staff member at check in didn't seem too fazed when mentioning ''Oh, our Hot Tub isn't hot at the moment, so you might to want to use that'' I understand that things can happen, but for 2 nights? Professional communication of the issue may've made the situation a little better. I rang down and asked for ear plugs for my partner and I. The front desk did not have any. The gentleman said he'd have a look and call back. With no call 30 minutes later, I called, with no luck. We needed an extra blanket for the sofa bed as my parents didn't need the fire on, and my partner was cold. I called the Front Desk, and to my surprise, no extra blankets. For the amount of money our guests are paying to stay at your property, the least you can do is supply simple amenities. Overall, not happy.
We stayed at the Pyramid Lake Resort for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it. This is a semi rustic resort offering “Cabin” style lodging. It is a short drive outside of Jasper and right on Pyramid Lake. The main Lodge hosts a very nice restaurant. The diner menu offers a variety of dishes and the food was delicious. Breakfast is buffet style only. There is a large outdoor jacuzzi at the main lodge building. This quaint resort is secluded and in the wilderness area. There were Deer and Elk wandering around the property on occasion. There is a large beach area and the resort offers canoe, kayak and boat rentals so you can explore the lake. There are new cabins as well as a few of the older original founder cabins. The resort has an outside BBQ area for those who wish to have an outside DYI meal. There is a Laundry Room where you can use the coin laundry to do your clothes. Our favourite part was the peace and quiet and being removed from downtown Jasper. This place is perfect for those wanting an escape yet still be close to everything. Only a few minutes drive from town. The local taxis run 24/7 and are readily available and quick to respond if you want to to town for dinner and don’t want to drive. We are so happy we chose to stay here. Definitely the spot for the outdoor wilderness experience with nice accommodations and facilities.
