We stayed in the trapper cabin I was not impressed when we pulled up to the cabin it looked old and rundown but when we went inside we quickly changed our minds it was completely renovated and decorated very nicely it was also very clean once we saw the inside the the outside became rustic not rundown. The only thing that we would have liked to now in advance is that there is very limited food options in the store and it is a bit of a drive to a restaurant they told us it was about a 10 minute drive. It would also be nice if they put some sort of air conditioning in the cabins it was only 23 degrees (Celsius) and it was quite hot inside but it is in the mountains so it does cool at night eventually

Charming cabin with all the amenities. There is no AC but night time temps kept the cabin cool. Location is 1/2 hour from Jasper and 1/2 hour from Hinton (for restaurants etc) but an easy drive to both.

The rooms were clean, but I was under the impression that I had booked a cabin (hence the name) but it was just a room. Wi-fi was very poor and unreliable. Pool and hot tub were out of service and unusable. Mini fridge was very tiny. Parking was limited. Staff was friendly.

The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very helpful and kind The room did not have a closet or hangers and very few spaces to put things on. The internet Wi-Fi was poor and not functioning most of the time. The grounds needed work as it had not been mowed/weeded in too long a time

These are fun little cottages located east of Jasper (about 30 minutes). We selected one of the smaller ones which had a bed and sofa in it. The room was clean, had a small kitchen area with cooktop, microwave and fridge so we could eat some meals on our own. There is no place to dine here, but Hinton has shipping and is about 20 minutes away. We choose to ship and eat two meals a day in the carving. Very basic and minimal utensils available in the room. We had four of everything except forks (only two) which was weird… but there were only two of us so it was not an issue. The little shop onsite did not have much in the way of food, just some snacks and a small gift shop. Also on site is an outdoor grill and fire pits which are available all day and a great place for people to gather. The location is right next to the major road out of Jasper, but there really was not much traffic noise to be heard. Parking is available either on front of or next to it cabin, depending on which type of unit you choose. Overall, we had a nice relaxing stay at the Miette cabins.

My husband, dog, and I stayed for two nights in a Pioneer Cabin. It was great! Very nice cabin and little step outside with chairs. There’s a common area with bbqs and fire pits. The main building has free coffee/hot chocolate and a games room (shuffle ball, pingpong, darts, pool). We were sad that the pool was closed (were there May 31 - June 2; hotels.com implied that it would be open during this time.) Hot tub was closed too, but I knew this from the hotel’s website. Staff at front desk were nice, and there’s a little store in the main building. Had a nice weekend there!
