I booked this hotel mostly because of the sweeping view of the Victoria harbor and the price and location is very reasonable even know this isn't the prime harbor view as in TST or Central. I got a corner room at the 18F and the room is spotless and chic. I enjoyed taking shower/bath looking out at the harbor especially at night when i turned off the light, it's quite magical. The front desk staffs are polite and helpful. She offered me a discounted rate 169HKD for breakfast buffet (originally 219HKD). However the food variety and dining experience is quite a bit behind Hyatt Regency.

What can I say about Vic on the Harbour? The experience has been absolutely amazing and unforgettable. Everything was perfect, from the check in to the check out (especially the surprise in my room, with a heart full of pictures of myself). The room was a dream come true, I can’t get over that view! The pool, the yummy breakfast, perfect location, the wonderful harbour view and the flawless service made of our stay something special😍 Thanks Anya and Vic team! we love you guys and can’t wait to come back!!

Don’t bother with this hotel. Small, dirty, far from airport, nothing much at the surrounding area, shopping mall next door is small, the view from the room is ok, the food on the 22nd floor is no good, and the concierge provides the wrong name of the ferry. And it’s not cheap too!

I had a harbour view room at club floor. With it comes buffet breakfast at the 22F club room (not as expansive selection if I had it downstairs but luxury of having it in relative peace and quiet while marvelling at Victoria Harbour view), afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Pool and Gym at 23F are a delight, not all HK hotels have these. Food at outlets (Cruise and Farm House) are innovative but still have comfort food feels and taste) - I love the pineapple with lime chili sauce. Only drawback for me - there’s only 1 English station on TV (CNBC).

Room is big with amazing harbour view. Well room cleaning everyday. Service is excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming. However, no smoked salmon for the breakfast even there are still a lot of choices (Dim Sum is good!)

We only visited this hotel's "Cruise Rooftop Bar" so cannot offer meaningful comment on hotel rooms, facilities etc.. Encouraged by other reviews, we visited the "Cruise Rooftop Bar" just a little after 18.00 to take advantage of 'Happy Hour' whilst watching the sun set over the bay. The views were fascinating as the natural light faded and the 'illuminations' came on. The bay was busy with water-borne traffic and there was plenty happening to maintain interest. The 'menu' came in the form of a 'tablet' computer which you had to 'scroll down' through many 'pages' of electronic information before finding what we wanted - all very 'modern', 'trendy' and 'hi-tec', but in reality far too cumbersome for 'ordinary' people. We eventually found and ordered our drinks, and enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours. However it was only when the bill came that confusion among the staff appeared. One thought that 'happy hour' was 17.30 to 19.30, but other information suggested 18.00 to 20.00, and there was further confusion over what drinks were (or were not) included in the 'happy hour' offer. Eventually a compromise was effected over the bill, but it shouldn't have happened in an establishment of this quality. If you intend using 'happy hour' here, before ordering drinks make absolutely sure you know the time of availability and what drinks are included in the offer. If you do that, you should really enjoy the experience.

Hotel was most impressive and our 21st floor room was spotless and provided great views. The Club Vic was most enjoyable and staff were very friendly and provided great service during our stay. We would have appreciated more drawers for storage.

Firstly positives; room very modern as hotel is new. Compliments to manager great who surprised us with complimentary birthday decoration and cakes. Negatives; Room had very little storage no drawers and no where to unpack. The room was very hot for western guests who are used to 19-20°, we could not get room cool in the hot weather and reception unable to change below 22° which was minimum. Distinct lack of signage to find hotel entrance from mtr, location not great. Agree with previous comments on slow check-in and long queues. The hotel’s iPhone app and self service machines are designed to reduce staff but both didn’t work and staff quickly told us to line up, nor could we find a QR code in the room to control the tv. Staff; Requested two wine glasses bringing to room, after three phone calls staff brought these, reception did not answer phone for 30mins. Then staff need training with basic hygiene, why would anyone deliver dirty glasses and hold wine glasses by the rim of the glass, where you drink from? Lifts had two room card sensors for security (left and right), as I could not get the lift to work I was told not to use left hand side reader by reception staff, why was there no signs saying faulty? Breakfast staff needed training too, as no service in there, staff were rude to my son one day asking him not to touch ice cream. Also there was no mention where hot food was, this is normally is not necessary but there is an adjacent teppanyaki room at the opposite side of cold food area, which we missed until leaving. Pool was great and staff were friendly and professional. When I return to HK unfortunately it won’t be here.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations, excellent Customer Service in all areas. Exceptionally clean, superb harbour views and a number of wonderful dining choices, my favourite on the 23rd floor with a view to die for, excellent food and exceptional service. Highly recommended 😊👍

Good location. Friendly staff. Excellent fitness and swimming pool. The hotel can be recommended for business trip and not long accommodation. Room is not big but comfortable and clean. Beautiful view from a window.
