Property under major repair. Was worth thelow price
The property has the typical "Excuse us while we are renovating" sign at the front desk but there is no sign of any renovations going on anywhere. It's just their way of saying - this is what we (the owners) think of you (the customers). Smoke filled hallways and rooms. Staff was friendly.
The bed sqeeked, the hair dryer did not work. The pool was closed. There was no breakfast. I could heart the ice machine all night. The shower curtain rod was loose.

Two floors, no elevator, not good for seniors with luggage. Basic lodging, tag sale furniture in the room, but the room and bathroom were clean. OK for the money if you don't need fancy.
Immediately during check in there was already customers in the lobby complaining about the cleanliness of their room. After waiting 20 minutes to check in I had to wait for my room to finish being cleaned but upon arriving in the room it was disgusting and dirty. Spilled coffee stains that could have easily been wiped up dirt on the desk and the beds/ bathroom was disappointing.
It's an older property. The staff was very helpful and let me stow my 2 large suitcases in the storage locker. Vamsu (sp?) Also helped me with the airport shuttle to drop off my rental car at the airport the night before my flight.
Convient to Bradley Int. airport and, as long as you drive, to good food and/or quick food. Old, and worn, bathrooms have been rehabed, better than Motel 6, on the average, inexpensive, just fine for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight. Staff is great. Room was very clean, but rehab was a bit sloppy, older AC units are very loud, some are newer.
It is old and shows it, lots of wear and tear, bathroom had been updated with relatively inexpensive fixtures, bed can only be described as lumpy, but, it slept well! Dollar for dollar the place is fine for a night if you are flying out first thing in the morning, or, coming in at midnight with a drive ahead of you.
took 10 minutes for front desk to appear at 7:30pm. Side door was unlocked, no key needed to enter. No continental breakfast, though other hotels in area have a togo bag.

We are sorry to hear of the issues you had encountered during your stay with us. Upon checking your reservation we had you arriving before check in time , that is why your room was not ready. Had the staff been aware of your feelings at check in, they would have gladly shown you the room before checking you in. They would have immediately tried and fix the situation at that time. Our apologies.
