This hotel needs a major renovation as it is outdated with dirty carpets and cheap room furniture. it is overpriced for the quality of the hotel. We stayed here because they offered free parking while we were on vacation and flying out of Halifax airport which is nearby. The airport shuttle is convenient and runs regularly with friendly drivers. The included breakfast is a basic continental.

Our stay at the hotel was fine. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Pizza in the restaurant was good. The shuttle was on time and convenient. Our only complaint was the art work in the lobby. We felt they were inappropriate. There were pictures of naked children (Greek style art work). This art work is fine for an art museum or someone’s personal home if desired, but not for the lobby of a hotel, where anyone, including children could see them.

I am handicapped with limited mobility and we were assigned room 151. It was a really long walk and I had to climb 3 steps which was difficult. The fan in the toilet room needed to be cleaned. We arrived after midnight and getting to brrakfast by 9 was challenging and a difficult walk.

A reservation for shuttle service was made at the hotel. At the time of departure on shuttle, anyone could embark. No verification of reservation was made by driver. We were there quite earlier than needed, otherwise we would have missed our departure and flight. Driver should not allow passengers unless a reservation can be confirmed when there are more people than the vehicle can accommodate.

I rented two rooms. Both TVs didn’t work. I was told that part of the fee would be refunded. In the morning the story changed and they said that they couldn’t refund part of the bill because it was booked through Expedia. The breakfast was absolutely terrible and embarrassing.
