From my car door to the room door of hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. My kids loved the river view and multi-colored lights in pool. The exercise room was quite extensive and ready for any level of exercise you needed. The room was simple, but elegant. Parking was a breeze, and easy access to area attractions. Would highly recommend!

Clean room, great view, Saturday night there where people around but didn't feel crowded.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Will definitely come back

From the moment we drove up and the valet took the car until we checked back out the next day everything was perfect. The check in was smooth, and we were able to check in a little early, before we headed up to Cygnus for brunch. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful water front view. The staff was so eager to accommodate no matter what the need or question was. I would definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in the Grand Rapid's area. I would stay there again.

From the start, we were greeted with professional and courteous workers and valet. They took our bags and had them prepared to go to our room. Everyone smiled and spoke and offered any help or guidance to ensure we had an excellent stay. The concierge was informative, food and drinks were awesome! The room was beautiful and clean and comfortable. The scenery was gorgeous. We felt like royalty! Even the maid service was polite and dignified. Everything was beautiful. There are absolutely no complaints, no need for improvements. Everything was timely, direct, tastes were wonderful. This was an experience like no other! We will be back!

We were in Grand Rapids for a family celebration. Three families stayed at the Amway Plaza. One had a room in the oldest section of the hotel, we had a room in the tower over looking the river and the other family had a suite on the 24th floor of the tower. Most impressive was the overall cleanliness of the hotel, it's lobbies and the rooms. The rooms in the tower had modern decor while the other room was a more traditional, classic style better reflecting the time period of that section of the hotel. I will re-emphasize, clean. The central location is ideal. We were in walking distance of the the Gerald Ford museum, the art museum, the arena, restaurants and bars. Too bad we were only there for one night; will definitely go back to explore more of what the city has to offer.

Tons of families and kids the weekend we stayed- not bothersome just noted. Hotel was warm and beautifully deviated for CHRISTMAS. LOVE THAT! Staff were wonderfully kind and pleasant. Preferred my stay here to the JW.

I have stayed at the Amway for over 25 years but that is my last stay. I felt I was at a county fair. The lobby was mobbed with masses of people and you could not even walk. We waited in line to check in for about 20 minutes. We watched the trashed can flow over in the lobby. It is no longer on our list.

Staffing was horrible, only 2 people at check in knowing 2 large events were taking place that weekend. Bell boy and valet were great though. Staff were very rude and impatient with my questions when I was lost and could not find the pool. Fitness staff rude and also impatient. Pool was on the completely opposite side of the hotel Tower and the room for 2 queen beds Basic were over $200. Room also smelled like a nursing home.

What a beautiful hotel with amazing Customer Service.

Excellent Staff, beautiful lobby and ball rooms. Rooms are clean but a little awkward in their configuration.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Amway Grand. You cannot beat the location if you want to get out and explore downtown Grand Rapids. We ordered room service both nights and it was fabulous.

We often stay at this hotel. Everything it has and represents is what my husband and I look forward too.

The hotel upgraded us after smelling foul odor in our first room...they knew about that room's reputation and moved us right away. Very nice location.

Had a lovely weekend away! This was a gift that we were very happy to use. We attended a pasta making class and had lunch downtown.

Such a fancy hotel for Grand Rapids. We were there for Founder's Fest and it was super close...within walking distance to all sorts of things.

We stayed at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for a night. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the location makes it that much better. Great spot! Will definitely go back.

Staff was super friendly. We stayed on the concierge's level and the cocktail hour and breakfast were great! Def worth the extra $. We had dinner at the Cygnus 27 restuarant which was ok. Staff and service were great though. We def come back here

Would definitely stay at Amway Grand. I had to take a suite because there were no other rooms. I felt it was a bit overpriced for Grand Rapids, but definitely a comfortable stay.
