I would definitely stay again.
We stayed in the Towers side of the Amway which is modern with a gorgeous view. You can still walk through the vintage side of the hotel which is gorgeous also. Beautifully decorated for the Holidays. Top notch service, and great restaurants. Covered walkway from the parking ramp and over to DeVos Place. Great experience.
The hotel was very nice. The older rooms were as up to date as they could be. I don't know what the rooms in the newer part of the hotel are like. My only real problem with it was the walls were a little thin so if people were being even a little loud you could hear them. Other than that, it was great. Being able to take the Skywalk from the hotel all the way to Van Andell was great.
Love the lobby I’m the older part, the ceiling is
The overall quality of this hotel has slipped during the past years. Poor attention to detail. No room service at this time. I understand this due to the pandemic. However they need to make this very clear before booking. Housekeeping is not a priority. Overpriced for the poor quality and lack of amenities.
We love staying at the Grand. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is excellent.
We love the Amway but when we woke up in the morning there was no power. The only thing we got was an alarm and an announcement saying we are experiencing a power outage that's it. Bummer
the power went out and we were so we left early. very disappointed as we were unable to shower and were not given any updates on the situation
It had nice restaurants on site and it’s centrally located but the staff, accommodations and inability to compensate for their negligence was lackluster. Almost rude
The discounted rate still wast worth the price. Room had someone else leftover food in the mini fridge. No microwave and the coffee maker was in the closet and mini fridge was in the tv stand. Room lighting was also bad. Floors had a lot of damage. Iv stayed at holiday inns better then this place.
Crystal chandeliers beautiful staircase. The lobby is out of a movie. So beautiful great place for pictures. I was sorry the pool area was closed. But it was closed due to renovations. So really it has a good reasons
Lovely hotel in center of downtown Grand Rapids. The City is very clean with beautiful architecture. All buildings have been renovated and re-pointed. Had a nice visit.
This place is beautiful. Location is excellent and staff is really nice. We loved staying in this hotel. We will stay there next time we go to GR Michigan..!
Even though my stay qas during the covid crisis the Amway still went above and beyond to cover for their short staff.
Beautiful property. Friendly staff Not clean, toothpaste on the shower curtain, hair in the bathroom No room cleaning or straightening between days, no wine glasses available, no room service, vending is cash only....
