The Amway Grand is fabulous. It's my favorite hotels i"ve ever stayed at. We came for the whiskey festival for the first time and want to make it an annual event. Love the boutiques.

The river view was awesome. The staff was helpful and friendly. However we could hear people in the adjoining room talking and playing music most of the day and until after 1 am. We called the front desk and they were quiet the rest of the night. For the price we felt the rooms would have been more sound proof.

Hotel room was in a back corner pod on the 11th floor. Terrible. I called down stairs for help the bathroom water smelled like sewage while water was running they sent maintenance in the room @11:30 at night very uncomfortable when I asked if we could move rooms for the inconvenience I was told no by the front desk. The working men were very nice but we’re in the room with shoes and boots and standing in the bathroom with shoes on all over the bathroom nothing was cleaned after they left for over a $350 dollars it was not worth the one night stay. The front desk didn’t want to accommodate their mistakes. We will not be back to this location.

We had to wait until after 8 to check in, did not get the rooms we deserved- were asked to leave the bar area after waiting 4 hours to check in, w $150 tab our kids pizza had arrived since our dinner reservation was missed. Our kids and us had zero access to lobby restrooms as so many dance teams took them over to do hair and make up . I guess it’s better than our last visit last month- where our belongings were stolen, but recovered from our room. Hardly hospitality. To the JW going forward

I stayed at this hotel previously (10 months ago), so I thought I knew what to expect. This stay however disappointed me. There was many, many strands of hair in our restroom upon check-in. Hair present on the vanity/sink area, stuck to the shower curtain, shower walls, and on the bottom of the tub. Unsure if it wasn't thoroughly cleaned after the last customer or if the housekeeper wasn't wearing a hair net. Either way, it was absolutely gross! I will try another downtown hotel for my next stay.
