Everything was great except the room. The floor was soaking wet. It seem like either the carpet had flooded or the carpet was cleaned. Regardless everyone's socks were drenched when we removed our shoes. The beds were so extremely squeaky and noisy that it ruined the entire nights sleep for all four of us. Not recommened.

This is a MOTEL not a Hotel. So having a door like that means a lot more vechicle noise, and noise from tons of motorcycles! Hotel is slowly updating. I read online reveiws and wasn't sure what to expect but luckily we got 1 of the newer updated rooms. Even with that there are cracks in ceiling and though our shower was brand new toilet was old and seat kept coming off! Thank God I always carry a Swiss Army knife to fix little things. Breakfast was suppose to be going at 6:00 but both mornings we were there basically all that was out a little after 6:00 was cereal, not a good selection like I usually find at a Days Inn. But with a full hotel each night we wanted to eat early as to not be left with nothing (Dunkin adonuts 2 mins away). I recently had knew surgery and needed a ground floor room which the staff did very well by looking out for me and my needs. A mixed review. Budget friendly option. They are trying to update an OLD building.

Nice location,a nice place to stay ,close to the dog tracks which is why we come

It was okay, was not immaculate. Smelled musty. Staff was very nice. Dubuque is beautiful. Close to downtown, very convenient.

All we needed was a place to lay our heads. Right off 20. Front desk staff was very pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. Yes, it is an older hotel, but we were happy with our room. Again, clean, comfortable and we felt safe. Breakfast in the morning, was typical, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Eating area was clean, coffee was hot. 7 minutes from Clark. Price was great.

right near a hospital, felt safe and comfortable for the 1-night stay we had in town. useful for the purpose of a $45/night hotel!

Near to attraction and downtown. Location was easy to get to. Enjoy my stay.

We had a second floor room. The stairwell smells of something, not sure what. The room was good enough but it was non-smoking and there was a hint of smoke smell when we walked in. We've stayed here before and it is true in other rooms. Once you lie on the bed, the smell increases. They should clean out the mattresses and pillows, or really charge the people who smoked in the non-smoking room.I I recommended the hotel because other might not be bothered by smoke and the price was decent. You get a nice breakfast each morning, also.

For them remodeling and such the place is very warm and welcoming I never had issues it was clean the staff was very friendly and accommodated to my needs if I had issues...

First night no heat in room. Reported to and returned to room with heat. Upon scheduled checked next day reported shower was poor with pressure, tub did not drain good. Next question ask if I would recommend this hotel to a friend, yes I would. You can not know when things breakdown, it matters how staff reacts to complaints and how quickly it is fixed.

The beds were comfortable, the room clean, and the microwave and refrigerator was handy. The bar has entertainment on the weekends and can be a lot of fun. I would like to see more variety on the breakfast buffet which came with the room.

The hotel is an absolute dump! Non-smoking room reeks like a cigar bar! Shower had mold all over. Sheets are old and dirty. Toilet is probably 50 yrs old. Absolutely a dump...stay away.

Left this Days Inn with a horrible case of bed bugs. Would never stay here again.

The staff was great. Since we did not want to drive to a few of the locations they had a shuttle from and track and one from the casino which allowed us to get around most of the weekend. The bar ws nice and happy hour was a great deal

the front desk staff was fabulous. Housekeeping was very kind. pool and bar area was very nice. Room was clean. Breakfast attendant on July 26 was TERRIBLE!!! She was snarky and rude. At 10:00 am, she opened up a waffle iron mid-cycle, took the waffle out with a fork, threw it on a plate, turned the machine off, unplugged it, shoved waffle toward guest and told the guest, you're done. I couldn't believe my eyes. She padlocked the milk and turned the coffee off and stomped around angrily until it was all cleaned up. It was a very poor display of customer service. The location was fun and I would go back again.

This is a conveniently located hotel, but it is serious need of updating

Motel wasn't bad besides the people in and out all night

The staff was very rood. The room was very ran down. I have been in 47 states and many hotels. This is the second worst hotel I have ever been in.
