Just stayed overnight on our way to Yosemite. Staff was courteous and the room was a nice suite. Very clean and updated with fresh paint. Would recommend this hotel

This place smells awesome!! The lemon and orange trees in the court yard make this place smell terrific. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Nice place and we'd stay again.

Room was clean, quiet, spacious. Good, safe location. Ample parking. Nicely kept grounds.

This is the only place we'll stay when we visit our Fresno family! We've got a new baby and the separate bedroom and sitting rooms are invaluable. The bed is huge and comfortable. It's easy to get to food and shopping, especially with Fig Garden Village so close. Love it!

Really nice staff. Last time I stayed here the internet didn't work, but this time it worked fine. Breakfast could be better with some hot sausage patties added. Rooms are spacious. Furniture a bit dated, but comfortable. Comfortable bed. Huge TV, problem is, nothing worth watching. Not the Hotel's fault. Plenty of hot water, Coffee always available in the lobby. Glass table in the way when you come in, perhaps it's to deter thieves from leaving quickly? Garden like grounds, feels relatively secure as opposed to more open motels like Motel 6. Ample parking. Overall an aesthetically pleasing place.

In town for a wedding close by and so the hotel was convenient to friends, family and venue. Close to Fig Garden Village - shops, restaurants and bars. Check in took longer than usual as they had a new software package and didn't really know how to use it. Suite was nice and clean and met our needs for our stay. Nice central courtyard with pool and great landscaping. Continental breakfast a bit limited but kept hunger at bay.

the hotel and staff were fine. the location is safe. the breakfast could be better

The room at San Joaquin Hotel was clean but the furnishings were very outdated/worn. Upholstery was really stained and coming apart. We did like the breakfast room, and we always found a place to park close to the lobby.

We arrived VERY late at night after a long day at a high school band competition. Tired, we were pleased that the hotel desk clerk was very welcoming, friendly, and quick to get us checked in. She was kind in helping us find our room and pointing out breakfast times and menu. We were equally impressed the following morning with the kindness and friendliness of the other staff at breakfast and checkout. Our room seemed a little outdated, but clean and spacious. The King bed was really, REALLY comfortable and the location was VERY quiet!! This was particularly important to us as we had a very short night! Our room (including the bathroom) was pretty large, giving us plenty of space to clean and dress. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and we enjoyed a simple but nice breakfast in an attractive all-glass atrium overlooking the center yard and pool. We'll stay here again when returning to Fresno!

This hotel was quite nice and a great value. I recommend it.

I liked how big the room was, the free wifi and how everything was set up, we couldn't get the ac to work the first night it seemed like it would go on and off, the breakfast was average, but other than that the place was nice and the price was great

I'm from Los Angeles and went to Fresno to celebrate my aunt's 94th birthday.

Room very cold. Carpets very dirty. Bed was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard. Both Tvs didn't work until you turned them on by hand. Channel selection limited. Coffee maker broken. Only two very small bath towels completely worn out. Totally unreal.

Love this place, I'll never pay money at another motel. This is really worth it.

Really nice hotel nice clean staff great customer survive tv's where old but oh well dident watch much tv. Under constrishion for upgrades

Loved it. The Staff was so understanding to our situation. My family was very comfortable.

This hotel was just what I wanted. The courtyard was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. The rooms had separate "living room," and a spacious bathroom. The hotel was in the process of remodeling but it wasn't an issue. And the remodeling was only to update out of style 1980's decor. Not because there was any thing wrong with it. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast had something for everyone. Everything was clean. And there was plenty of hot water and a high quality shower head. I would defiantly like to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Had a great time. Clean room, nice gardens and pool area. Breakfast needs help-needs protein on the menu. The towels are paper thin. Customer service was great! My dog had a great time too!

The hotel is a breath of fresh air compared to your usual places. I also enjoyed the space in the rooms it was comfortable.

First noticed a big black smear across the TV screen in the lobby...ugh...then in my room I couldn' t see since 3 light bulbs were missing or out..then noticed centipedes and their nests all over the bathtub...Took photos and showed the desk clerk on check out. She gasped! Then when taking a shower , the shower had a continuous high pitched squeal...and more than anything I was really looking forward to a good night's rest...and it was without a doubt the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in....and I often frequent Morel 6, Super 8 and Comfort Inn....they were more if a hotel than the San Juaquin....I called today to speak with the general manager and her 3 hour " meeting" I guess is more important than customer relations. The desk clerk on Sunday morning was appalled , wrote everything down and told me she would pass it on on Monday to the GM...never heard from them yet. A horrible run down abs shabby less than a motel hotel!!
