Housekeeping went in multiple times in multiple rooms when do not disturb sign was in place. Even went into rooms in the middle of the night, hotel was alerted to the issue and the problem still occurs again. Extremely declassified, recommend skipping this hotel at all cost.
We had a wonderful stay at the Double Tree by Hilton Fort Smith City Center. The location worked great for us, and the rooms were perfect. The bathroom was beautiful, clean and filled with every amenity we could need. There were enough towels for three people!!
This is an awesome hotel to stay at. The rooms are great and the staff is very friendly. They have an awesome breakfast. I also think the hotel is gorgeous on the inside. The only problem is the parking is not so great considering they're connected to a convention center. There is always something going on, so therefore it is hard to find good parking spots, especially if you leave after 5 to go get dinner. Also, theirs internet service is horrible. I was forced to use my data the entire time cause it kept connecting and disconnecting. Or it may say no internet access.
The hotel only has 2 elevators, so if the hotel is busy expect to wait more than 5 mins to get on an elevator. The hotel was short on staff and were rude. The restaurant took over an hour to deliver room service. Also the breakfast choices are not appetizing and the price is too high for breakfast, then they take long to seat you. The room stunk awful like wet carpet, I had to put air freshener to help the bad odor. The shower didn't work well. The carpet on every floor is gross and ugly. There is a few parking spots available in the front but when busy you have to park across the street. I will not be staying here again.
The Doubletree was a great find for us on the way to Nashville . The beds, room and bath were terrific. Good restaurant that was open til 10pm. Heart of Ft Smith, with several places to ear nearby. We will stop here again.!
We went to a Convention and reserve 3 rooms, they were so comfortable at the end of the day that everybody was ready early the next day. Service was wonderful. Price was good. Everything was very clean
The hotel is great and is by far the best hotel in the city. The restaurants along with the facilities exceed the expectations of what one would expect in a city of the size. The only problem is parking in that the hotel doesn't have enough of it for all of its guests.
This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Fort Smith. The rooms are clean. I booked through the Trip Advisor app and got a very reasonable rate:$88/night. Checkin was efficient and friendly. (I arrived late and really appreciated the warm cookie. With oatmeal and walnuts, it was a better than average cookie. ) The hotel was fully booked during our stay and it does not have sufficient elevator or parking capacity. Both of the overflow parking locations were completely full. Note that this hotel is 100% nonsmoking. On the Hilton reservation site, a higher price was showed for a nonsmoking room. The restaurant service was terrible. Unbelievably slow and indifferent. I question if this hotel would be good for a business traveler. The wifi kept dropping. Also, the bathroom was not ideal. No towel racks!
I travel for business and my corporate credit card was deactivated. They were quick to handle it with my corporate office to get the bill straightened out and acted like it was no big deal. It made me feel at ease. The next day I went down for breakfast and although almost every table was dirty (hadn't been cleaned off from the last guest), the gentleman politely apologized and said to sit wherever it was clean. I think the manager came out and started bussing tables but again, under the stress of being short-staffed they were super polite. Upon checking out, the front desk and a cleaning manager talked to me (again, super nice). The only drawback I have to this visit was the parking and the elevators. There is only about 20 spots then you have to go to overflow parking across the street in a parking garage. The wait for the elevators was so long, you could see people running for it so they didn't have to wait.
No mini fridge, no microwave, no contenental breakfast. No hot tub like the web page says. Did have a swimming pool. It was nice. But Next time I will stay at a cheaper hotel which has all of the above.
