There is definitely historical charm and great architecture. Once remodel is complete this will a wonderful place to stay. The remodel is not a deal-breaker for staying there, but is something that some would want to avoid.

Live music on the weekends was nice. Rooms were well kept. Most of the hotel hallways desperately need new carpets. The price we paid was fantastic, I would definitely stay there again. We were not impressed with the spa. They should were uniforms or scrubs. They looked very sloppy. My husband and I paid $350 for 2 facials. My therapist did not explain any of the steps he was doing, I had no idea about washing, exfoliation, moisturizing etc. I was not impressed at all with the hand and foot massage. My husband loved his therapist. He enjoyed his facials and hand and foot massage. It could have been that my male therapist was not very experienced.

The property is very run down. Our first room had holes in the bathroom. The kid who checked us in could care less. They never cleaned the room, paint peeling from the walls....It was pretty bad. The staff was extremely rude.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by its stunning beauty and warm atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, with their exceptional kindness and helpfulness making all the difference. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine! But what really made our stay stand out was the outstanding service from Romero during our checkout process - his attention to detail and friendly demeanor made everything seamless and stress-free. Five stars aren't enough for this amazing team!

Great location! Cornerstone of National Park

While we had to change plans at midnight due to microsoft outage, we were delighted with our experience. Thankful for the real keys for doors. The hotel is almost 100 years old. It is majestic with a lobby and other areas reminescent of the gilded age. Some updates, but expect the history too. Shower was warm though sink was detached from wall, so had a wobble. Pipes are loud but work. Early am construction started at 7am. It is a cool building though not modern. Location was the best! Walk out the door and across the street into the national park. Feel the hot spring water, go up stairs to promenade trail or walk same level to the historic bath houses. They reference hotel on trolley tour. We would definitely stay here again. Also, no one seemed to pay or moniter the street meters on the side street. Shared from another guest.

No microwave? With all these great surrounding restaurants?? Tons of people with leftovers, nowhere to heat their delicious food. Arlington, please do something about this. The only microwave available in the entire hotel is in an attached coffee shop that closes at 8pm. We're foodies, and this was a major miss by the hotel.

Needs a Deep Cleaning

The rooms have not been cleaned since the late 1800’s! We were unable to stay for the two nights. The manager offered us a refund for our second night. The hotel is too beautiful to be neglected as it is.
