Everything was great expect a large group decided to have a party in the hallway till 1:00AM. Asked them to stop and go into a room, they didn’t. Called the front desk, and either they asked and the party didn’t stop or they never asked.
The hotel rooms are very rustic and old. It is an interesting place to stay and for the price, it worked. Its location is the only reason I would stay there again.
Rooms are dated and bathrooms need refreshing
The Arlington is a great historic venue that is perfectly located on Central. Everything is well within walking distance. The rooms are old so do not go in expecting 5 star accommodations. However that is the intrigue of the hotel. You feel like upon entering the building you have walked back in time to much simpler times.
Very quaint hotel but, definitely needs some updates
Run down. Looks like it might have been awesome in the 60’s and 70’s but needs a lot of work to update for today
Loved the history of the hotel. Enjoyed our stay!
Pillows and linens stained. Linens changed quickly but not stained pillows. Signs at desk said masks required but almost all employees not following or enforcing rule with guests. Carpets and floors extremely dirty. We did not feel anything had been or would be sanitized or food preparers would be wearing masks either so we didn’t feel comfortable or safe relaxing in common areas, getting a massage or eating at the hotel. Hotel said they were short staffed but this beautiful old building has been neglected for a while it seemed. Staff was quick to assist when asked for new linens and towels
The Arlington Hotel is beautiful but the pool area needs major upkeep! Broken tile everywhere around the pool! I don’t feel you should have to pay to park at the hotel your staying at! Then to pay $25 a day to see your car parked out in the open with no cover! The staff overall was friendly and accommodating, the entrance to the rooms need to be upgraded, we had a hard time unlocking our door every time, and my daughters room key got stuck and the key broke off in the lock, they had to change rooms after midnight! We were on the 2nd floor and the music was so extremely loud Friday and Saturday night till midnight! Couldn’t sleep till it was over!
Nice historical hotel. Great location.
I loved the uniqueness of the hotel. I knwo it's old and a historic landmark but cleanliness was lacking.
Cracks in wall and musty and moldy smell
Fire trap, building is in bad condition
the ballet parking and the miner water spa is added bonus, otherwise the property is old and run down..needs remodelling..The staff was o.k but there were one or two not qualified to be in the hospitality service.. the Friday night bar situations was nothing but chaos, and the band was the worse ban I have ever heard in my entire life, I had to leave, and not coming back, also let ta day early...and no refund on the prepaid room, even if I left early morning..They could have refunded the day I did not stay. I am not coming back.
Thank you
very poor service/ free parking is now a charge of 18.00
The Arlington is historical but the upkeep is horrible. They need to make sure the room is prepared well enough for guests BEFORE they arrive. Despite the COVID situation, our room wasn't very clean upon arriving. The ceiling had stains and was even falling apart and was on the carpet. Our shower was clogged and we're thinking that the bed had bed bugs. We asked them to change the sheets however we still got bit by something so we're assuming we were dealing w/bed bugs.
The "non-smoking" floor smelled bad of cigarettes. The hotel needs a remodel.. rooms are kinda outdated for the price. Some paint falling in the lobby. Hardly any outlets in the room and the TV signal was terrible. Checkin was easy, parking should be onsite and included in the cost. The bar and pool close at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night??! Highlight was the location of the hotel.
