It’s has character and history. You must be reasonable and understand older does not always translate to dirty. They are renovating as well. Room was a nice size. Bathroom was fine but there was not any where to place toiletries. Lobby and lobby bar is great and all the staff were as well. Perfect location!

Loved the history and convenience in town. The hospitality and staff were incredibly friendly and the thermal bath experience was top-notch! Highly recommend. It is an old hotel, so if you don't like quirks, glitches and oddities, stay somewhere else.

This was my second stay at the Arlington. It is very stunning and the centerpiece of Central Avenue. This is a 101 year old establishment and I can appreciate their commitment to preserving tradition. However, there are areas of opportunity including cracked tiles in the shower stall. I did like that there was a refrigerator, which is pretty modern. The bed was comfortable and the views from my room were great too. I also enjoyed the hot tub. Overall, it’s a nice experience and convenient to all the shopping and dining you may desire.

Everything was fine except for one thing. Stayed two nights and the parking was 22$ a night which I think was a bit ridiculous considering there was a 30$ additional fee from the hotel after I paid hotels.com. The last place we stayed didn’t charge us to park. The doubles tree hotel in Tulsa.

Recent reviews before booking were spot on. It’s an old establishment, supposedly under renovation. Room was small and 2 of the 4 walls were almost “bubbling” with bad sheet rock, and there was a distinct mustiness in the room and down the hallways. Bathroom sink once turned on couldn’t be turned off until both valves under the sink were closed. Construction noises started within the building at 8:30 Saturday morning. Location is good on the main strip with dining and shops. If you’re looking for 5 Star, this isn’t it. We stayed for an experience and got one… Never say never, but probably wouldn’t stay there again. Only positives were great water pressure and a couples massage.

Room on third floor overlooking construction noise, and decrepit condition on roof in back of hotel. Sink in bathroom didn't drain and filled up with crud from drain. Coffee maker in room didn't work so had to purchase Starbucks on site bc no free coffee anywhere. Holes in bathtub. The mold and musty smell in this place put my allergies in overdrive. Went to use the hair dryer. It pulled off walk and fell apart darn near fell in toilet. There was this noise twice that sounded like a harrier jet landing. We will not stay again.

The place was so unclean. It was unbelievable. The carpets have stains everywhere and not just in my room, but in the other rooms that we had as well. The entire hotel is not maintained well and it was gross. The balconies had cigarette butts that had been there for days or weeks. They had not been swept or cleaned in a very long time.

The Arlington hotel is a lovely 1920's era hotel in downtown Hot Springs on Bathhouse row. I stayed in the historic section of the hotel. My room had a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was small but still okay. No place to put your shampoo bottle. It has a small soap holder built into the shower wall. Not big enough to hold soap and shampoo. The parking lot for the hotel is down the street. $22 to park in the garage parking down the street. There is A LOT of walking. If you have a lot of luggage, it is best to pay for the $30 plus tip valet parking. They will bring your bags to your room. All in all, I would give the hotel 3 stars out of 5.
