Very attentive staff who met every need. Hotel does not have parking, so be prepared to park in the city deck about 500 feet from the hotel.
Nasty place
Ery musty smelling and no balcony as advertised
We stopped here for one night on our way South since it's considered a higher end hotel. We were disappointed from the beginning as the woman at the front desk seemed ill-informed and bored at best. They had a large sign saying that "masks were required" and yet, when a polite man asked for a mask, she said she had run out. Not really acceptable and didn't make me feel very confident about their Covid procedures. Speaking of which, right under our room there was apparently a college formal party taking place with base that vibrated the walls and loud cheering. We called the desk and went downstairs multiple times to find out when it would be over and if they could lower the music and no one helped us. After the party finally ended, the neighbors next door kept me up until after 1:30 am with their excessive talking and laughter. The room was small but new enough. The bathroom had hairs all over that had just been ignored by housekeeping. When we checked out the next morning, the gentleman at the desk apologized for our troubles and said a manager would reach out to my phone but surprise, surprise no one ever called. This was not a cheap hotel by the way.
There were roaches and centipedes in my room that I discovered in the room and bathroom. Rug stains as well. Disgusting.
Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Easy access to public parking
It is a different hotel compared to cookie cutter type. Great accommodations.
The hotel was easy to get to and staff very friendly and helpful. Ample free parking as well.
Nice hotel, close to bars and restaurants downtown
It was a neat place to stay. You went back in time but have all of the modern conveniences.
We stayed on our drive back from Florida and it was such a pleasant night. We are a great meal at Victor's - in the hotel - and slept well on a comfortable bed in a well appointed room. It's quite a chic little place and well worth the five minute drive off I95. It's a little sad to see how the rest of the town has yet to have a revival as most of the nearby buildings in town are vacant. Don't expect to walk around a cute downtown area or grab dinner elsewhere. Thankfully, the hotel has everything you need. We will be back.
