A great property lovely rooms, all amenities working perfectly, a very warm and helpful staff, proximity to the Mall of the Emirates and Metro Station made this an enjoyable stay The hotel had a great spread for vegetarians and the veg breakfast was outstanding
Celebrated birthday in sheraton and Mr. Tarek from front office was extremely helpful to fulfill all requests. I would like to thank all the staffs in sheraton to make my birthday memorable with the generous size cake and wishes :)
We initially had taken a smoking room but we were sorely disappointed. Don't ever take a smoking room in this place. The Arab crowd are generally chain smokers and the room that we got, smelled of smoke so bad that even the walls and the carpets smelled of it. We got instant headaches every time we entered the room. Finally we upgraded the room to a suite. It cost us 50,000 rs extra but we had no choice. We couldn't stand the bad headaches. Only the smoking suite was available. However since the room was big the smell was diluted. The suite has a nice passageway and a living room, the bathroom is also split into two parts so it becomes easier with a family. It has a nice closet and an ironing board and other amenities like hair dryer, mini fridge and coffee maker.Taking the suite is a good option since it makes you eligible for the club room in the evening. The club room has a lovely spread of cocktails and appetisers which is almost like a full meal. So once you have the cocktails and appetisers(quite heavy) you can skip dinner. The food at this hotel is very good. The salads in this hotel are definitely to die for! They are extremely fresh. Also the range of cheeses is something you will enjoy. The Arabs have a sumptious breakfast and most of them just have black coffee all day. In the evening many of them have dessert and an easy dinner. Almost everything that you eat in Dubai is imported -including the eggs and they are fresh. Each egg comes with its expiry date. For Indians this is pretty new. Go in early for the breakfast since there is a huge queue every single day. The pool is simple and pretty. Carry your bathing suits, also please carry floaters for those who can't swim. We had carried our own bathing suits but we hadn't carried floaters. We were surprised to see that the hotel didn't stock any floaters. So it was tough to take my daughter into the pool since she can't swim. Most of the staff speaks hindi fluently hence you will not have any trouble communicating. The best part is that the hotel is in the mall hence we could go over to the mall to snack. Try Pauls for their lovely bread bowl onion soup. The shops are extremely expensive in all of Dubai. Contrary to the popular belief, it is NOT a shopping destination. We saw the exact same Nike t shirt that we bought for 850/- in India priced at 3500/- here. Same design, size everything! You also have Carrefour which is a hypermarket for essentials which helps when you are travelling with a child. One thing I found really convenient is the small sized milk packets. When you buy a big tetra pack of milk you have to use it within two days. But since it is only my daughter who consumes milk it was very convenient to buy 7 -8 of these mini tetra packs. Each has exactly one cup of milk and the rest of it stays fresh. For the hotel - If there is one suggestion I would give is that the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel needs to be improved, especially some way to remove the smell from the smoking suites. Changing the carpets might help. For the guests - TAKE THE NON SMOKING rooms. I have always taken the smoking rooms everywhere in Singapore and other places but I have never seen a single place with this kind of smoky smell. We were here from 19th to 26th of December 2016. Overall the stay was good and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
I love this hotel. It is my number one choice whenever I book a trip to Dubai. Everything is perfect: starting from the location at the mall, the friendly staff, great breakfast food, and so on! Highly recommended.
Arriving to the hotel you can see how nice and well done, beautiful decoration with well managed space, in some point you feel you are in Turkey. During our meeting we have few coffee break and the seating was very nice with small section for canapés, sweet and fruit. Lunch time in
I booked this hotel a week before my trip, i had updated my credit card details as I noticed my card in the site was not updated also I emailed them to inform them that i will reach Dubai late at 11pm and they confirmed my booking, when i was on the plane i got an email that my booking was CANCELED! I called the hotel & a guy with aggressive attitude responded when I started to argue with him he shouted at me and give me another number to contact& he hanged the phone. I called the other number and another guy responded it was the hotel policy to cancel if the payment got rejected , i told him at least you should call to confirm the card details again, when he was arguing that my card got rejected i asked him if he used the card i update and he didn't confirm and clearly shows that he didn't try the updated card& he made me feel like i was living in a village before i step in there hotel, when I argued with him he asked me the stupid question DO YOU STILL NEED THE ROOM! I told him SERIOUSLY IM IN THE PLANE & ITS 11PM WHERE DO YOU WANT ME TO GO AT THIS HOUR!!! He rebooked the rooms and when I reached the hotel at 1 am i used the same card & it worked!!! Im not planning to stay in this hotel again they are the worst hotel If it wasn't 1 am I would book a different hotel with a better reservation
This hotel was suggested because of its location. We agree, being a short walk down to the gold and spice markets. We were delighted to be able to take our room at 6.30 am after an over night flight, thank you for that. We had to leave early the next morning , so it was suggested we have breakfast after checkin, another very good suggestion. Amazing breakfast. Without hesitation if we go back that way we will stay here again.
The hotel is very conveniently located next to the mall and to my business destinations. Very friendly staff and they go out of their way to help . The check in process can take from 10-15 minutes. The rooms are equipped to meet the needs of business travel . The breakfast is average however almost always busy. I tried some salads on the terrace they were not that good .
Everything ... everything was PERFECT and EXCELLENT , for sure I wouldn't look for any other hotels in Dubai for next time , great hospitality , and ... the pool , the gym , internet , breakfast , access to mall of the emirates , access to metro , access to food court , the view , and ...... everything was amazing . strongly recommend this hotel
Following some very poor experiences with Hotels in Dubai, I have concluded Sheraton Dubai @Mall of Emirates provided the most convenient location for my business meetings and dinners. The hotel is new and clean which is what I look for in my travels. Sheraton also provided an option for late check out which came in handy on this visit. The only two areas of feedback for the hotel are with the two separate lift systems to the lobby which is rather busy during the peak periods. The Executive Lounge food selection is rather limited; but the decaf coffee more than makes up the difference!
