I checked out 2 night before and reception staff were very unprofessional. They didn’t let my guest come to visit me into my room and were asking for passport. He had his green card and us driving licence but they were asking for origin passport which eventually people dont carry. Situation went so embarrassing for me and my guest. The worst part was hotel management first said it’s Municipal rule and then said it’s a police rule. Later a guy apologised by saying it’s an Emaar rule. I usually use Agoda or book direct from bonvoy and never faced such embarrassment in my entire life.
