Checking in at Hampton was a pleasant experience. Cabel (sp.?) greeted me with a warm, friendly attitude. All of my paperwork was taken care of because I had already checked in online. The nice thing about Hilton is that you can pick your room by checking in online. You need to belong to their Honors Program for this benefit. Worth the few minutes it takes to sign up. The lobby of this hotel is charming and very lovely. They didn't miss a detail when they remodeled this hotel. The breakfast is your typical Hampton breakfast, with a bonus cheerful, personable lady who is in charge of the food area. She was very sweet and taught me some things about Seymour, Indiana that I was not aware of. It's the hometown of John Cougar Mellencamp. The entire hotel is beautiful. The rooms have been recently updated and were clean and spacious. The mattress and linens were comfortable, which contributed to my good night's sleep. There is a pool, fitness center, business center and areas just to sit and relax. I believe they won the 2016 Lighthouse Award for their hotel. The hotel is modern with nice touches that make it inviting and comfortable. A very nice updated hotel. This hotel was a great find for me as I travel to and from Chicago/Florida several times a year. I will make it one of my go to stops each trip. Nice place. Friendly staff. Great slumber.

Interior looked brand new. Great staff. Easy to get to off of I65. Discounts available. I would stay there again and recommend it. Great value with Happy Hour and Breakfast and 24/7 coffee available. Very efficient staff.

I have stayed here several times while in Seymour on business and I would recommend it to anyone. Staff is pleasant and room have been clean. Also is in a convenient location and has restaurants nearby.

Bathroom door was a "Barn Door" style bathroom door. It was poorly installed resulting in a 1/4" gap around both sides. Hotel Manager advised that all of this properties doors had been replaced and they all had a gap. The Manager went onto to say this was not a local decision but rather Hampton Inns was making this change at all Hampton properties. He advised he could not do anything besides giving me a refund "IF" that would make me 100% satisfied. I advised it would not make me 100% satisfied and would be providing a negative review, he then advised that there was nothing else he could do.

The hotel was recently renovated and the room was spectacular. The room was very clean and the bathroom had a walk in shower. The staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet couldn't have been nicer.

This was our second stay here. Friendly staff!! Clean & comfortable rooms with a nice bed. Lobby is pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast is alright. There is a Cracker Barrel next door which is convenient.

I am giving this 5 stars because of how polite, kind and helpful this staff was. I have a 4 month old who is exclusively breast fed and he was dirty and hungry when we got off 65S to get gas. The gas station looked dirty and I don't think there was a changing table. I walked right into Hampton Inn and asked them if I could change and feed him. They were SO friendly and said I absolutely could and anywhere I wanted to feed him. Thank you!!!!! (On a side note, it's a really clean and nice looking hotel!)

First let me say I did not appreciate having my credit card pending charged before my arrival. What if I had decided to use a different card? NEVER have had that happen anywhere. Upon trying to use the shower in an accessible shower we were absolutely unable to figure out how to turn it on. Called the front desk to ask for maintenance and was told we'd get a call back which happened immediately. Desk told me that after all I had ordered the accessible room. What? That had nothing to do with a faucet mechanism that was ridiculous in the first place. Was told how to operate. Front desk is important in any hotel and this was NOT a Hampton experience. They get two stars for rude service and will stay somewhere else on my way back thru Seymour. How about sharing the use of your ridiculous shower at check in?

Was a great place to stay and we could easily stay there again. The Internet connection, however, was very slow and needs to be improved. Not a lot of options for eating dinner once we arrived but in fairness we didn't inquire about a list or map to restaurants we did not see.

I was immediately impressed as soon as we walked through the front door. The lobby was so nice. Once we got to our room and I was even more impressed. The pool was large and there was plenty of area for the parents to sit and watch.
